• Miyahara - Miyahara, a red-brick building constructed by Japanese ophthalmologist Miyahara Takeo in 1927, was once Taichung’s largest eye clinic during the Japanese colonial era. Thankfully, Dawn Cake, a pastry company famous for its pineapple cakes, has preserved the building’s original red-brick walls and archway.

Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the Fourth Credit Union, a traditional Taiwanese architectural gem that has been transformed to blend historical charm with modernity. Although it no longer functions as a financial institution, it now offers a delightful array of ice cream treats.

• National Taichung Theater - The Taichung Theater, a distinctive large-scale public performance venue, was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Toyo Ito. While entry is not permitted, visitors can capture photos at the entrance.
• Rainbow Village Taichung - This area features artwork by a former soldier who began painting the houses in his settlement, now known as Rainbow Village, to prevent their demolition. His vibrant artwork, depicting birds, animals, and people, has spread across the remaining homes in the village, which once housed 1,200 residences.
• Gaomei Wetland - Discover the enchanting Gaomei Wetlands, where nature’s beauty unfolds in a captivating display. Visitors can observe the wetland’s unique ecology, including mudskippers, fiddler crabs, and numerous bird species, up close. The wetlands also offer a stunning sunset experience.

Starting from Taipei, we will take you to visit popular check-in spots in Taichung: Zhongshe Tourism Flower Market, Miyahara(special ice cream), Rainbow Village. As the sky turns dark, prepare to be stunned by the breathtaking sunset at Gaomei Wetlands. Watch as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow across the serene wetlands and creating a picture-perfect moment that’s sure to leave a lasting impression. Since the sunset time in Gaomei Wetland changes depending on seasons, the departure time in winter (October-March) is 9:00am, and the departure time in summer (April-September) is 10:00am.
