- Xiaoyoukeng Recreation Area - Begin your journey by meeting the tour guide at MRT Xingtian Temple Station, then proceed to Yangmingshan National Park. The highlight of the visit is Xiaoyoukeng, the most renowned attraction in the park. Known as “Little Oil Well,” Xiaoyoukeng is a geothermal site in Yangmingshan National Park, Taiwan, celebrated for its distinctive volcanic scenery, including fumaroles, hot springs, and bubbling mud pools. The area is marked by sulfur deposits and steam vents, offering a surreal and captivating atmosphere.
- Flower Clock - The park and its surroundings boast unique flora such as cherry blossoms, azaleas, camellias, peach blossoms, thorn apples, and plum blossoms, which vary with the seasons. From December to April, the landscape is adorned with native cherry, plum, camellia, peach, and azaleas, marking the flower festival period. The Flower Clock is a large garden artwork located near the park’s western entrance.
- Zhuzihu - Situated in Yangmingshan National Park, Bamboo Lake, also known as Zhuzihu, presents a dynamic landscape as cherry blossoms, calla lilies, hydrangeas, and orange daylilies bloom in different seasons. Visitors can enjoy their lunch while taking in the scenic views.

Yangmingshan National Park Half day tour was a great way to start our Taiwan trip! - We very much enjoyed our tour to Yangmingshan National Park. We ended up getting a private tour on this trip with Kevin, our guide. Besides the sights being amazing, Kevin was very friendly and colorful. He went above and beyond during the tour. He knew a lot about our hometown of Columbus, Ohio as he used to study there, so it was great conversation between the stops. He pointed out the history and best places along the tour, including in Taipei when he dropped us off. Would highly recommend this tour with Kevin!
