Great experience in Zhangjiajie - We visited Zhangjiajie during Mid-Autumn festival and we had a great experience. Our guides David (first day) and Nancy (day 2 and 3) have organised all details perfectly. It has been a perfect balance between hiking, driving and fun entertainment for our tweens, like the zip line and the slide. We managed to visit all main attractions in the region and despite holiday period we didn’t have to queue long and it was not too packed at the times we were at the attractions. We definitely recommend this tour and our guides.

Amazing trip with great guide! - We went to Zhangjiajie in July 2024 guided by Michael and it was an exceptional tour!!!! The stunning region of ZhanJiaJie is amazing and incredible with lot of fun activities if you are interested (Zip lane, slides, …). Luckily, Michael was our quide and helped us to make it memorable! His extensive knowledge of the area allowed us to discover all the best spots while efficiently navigating to avoid the crowds. His amiable nature was especially appreciated by the children (2 boys of 10 and 11 y.o), who thoroughly enjoyed the stay thanks to Michael's constant kindness. Moreover, he consistently provided us with insightful and practical information, enhancing our experience significantly. We highly recommend Michael to anyone looking to explore ZhanJiaJie; his expertise and warm demeanor truly made our trip memorable.

Great Experience of Zhangjiajie - My husband and I went to Tianmen Mountain. We were hosted by Tony, he is a native of Zhangjiajie and knows a lot about local culture and history, and his English is very good. He was very detailed when guiding us, for example telling us about the indigenous tribes in Zhangjiajie, the original story that inspired the film Avatar, the meaning of Tianmen Mountain for local residents, even telling us about good photo spots and shortcuts to avoid long queues at the counter, and took us to local restaurants. which serves delicious noodles and dimsum.

Brilliant day tour avoiding many of the crowds. - I booked through Venus and had Shirley as my tour guide. I only had one day to do the park and I’m so glad I booked these guys. First stop was Yangzhazhie part - going up in a cable car and then lots and lots of walking (including some very narrow passages). This area is great - it has awesome views and far fewer tour groups than the other sections. After that we went and joined the masses at Yuanzhajie - which is a must do as the views here are spectacular. The walking in this section is much easier. We had lunch here first and then did the trails with spectacular view so of rock formations. From Yuanzhajie we went to the Bailong elevator to descend and then for a walk along the river - although if you’re tired you don’t need to do this whole path. We did a short section - the river has lots of tourists in it (!) and lots of crowds feeding the monkeys then wondering why they got bitten! I would definitely recommend this tour. Shirley was a great guide and also knew how to just keep one step ahead of the tour group timings so you don’t end up in huge queues for shuttle bus or elevator. Thank you!

Amazing trip and wonderful tour guide - I spent a long weekend in Zhangjiajie with my favorite tour guide Venus. She knows the best places to visit, the right time to visit, and the best way to avoid crowds. She is fluent in English, smart, and tough in a beautifully protective way. The mountains, caves, tea houses, rivers, and canyons make Zhangjiajie a special place to visit and having Venus to navigate the region makes it so easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend Zhangjiajie and Venus as the guide.

Amazing trip!! - I was in a small group tour with two other solo travelers! Besides the fact that the mountains were outstanding to see, I had the best time on the tour. We ended up getting a really crappy day with the weather, it was very foggy and pouring rain but my tour guide Grace, made light of the situation and made it a really enjoyable experience. She made sure we waited at view points to see if the fog would pass so that we could get a glimpse, which it often did but when it didn’t, she showed us pictures from previous tours she had done so we would at least be able to see what it was supposed to look like. She was very knowledgeable on the history of mountains and spoke very good English! She was also engaging in other topics for the sections where there wasn’t history to talk about. Everything was very well organized and ran smoothly throughout the day. This tour was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Wonderful trip with a great guide! - Our private tour guide Logan was friendly and thoughtful. He was polite and patient with my 10 year old son's numerous questions. He was always happy to help us take photos. When there were some issues with using the same driver for the entire trip, he made the necessary arrangements and ensured that we had no problems traveling from place to place. Thankfully there was no rain throughout the trip even though the temperature at the mountains were as low as 5 degrees. Even though it's not peak season in Nov, there were quite a lot of visitors at the attractions, esp at the queues for the cable cars and the elevators. The majestic views of the mountains was really impressive and we're glad to experience a few 'firsts' - longest cable car ride, biggest cave (5 levels which took almost 2 hours), most number of escalator rides in a single experience (total of 12 flights in Tianmen Mountain), highest glass bridge.
