Fantastic experience - Fantastic experience! We signed up for a 3.5 hour tour, but Daoud gave us 7 hours and a in depth appreciation of Stone Town, the Spice Plantation, and the history behind both. The samples at the spice pentagon are exquisite. Would highly recommend again.

Stone town, Zanzibar - We booked the stone town walking tour and spice farm, had a lovely day, very informative and friendly. The drive to the spice farm lets you see some of the real towns and you get a nice flavour of Zanzibar. Enjoyed it so much we booked again to the north or the island, a boat trip snorkelling with dolphins. The sea is like a bath, it’s beautiful. Highly recommend it.

I initially booked them for a Stone Town walking tour on my first day, but they were so good that I ended up booking all my tours with them during my stay which also included Prison Island, turtle swimming and dophin watching tours.
As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how they combined safety with a genuinely enjoyable experience. They were easy to hang out with, and their laid-back but professional approach made exploring Zanzibar stress-free and fun.
Daudi, in particular, stood out with his knowledge of the island and his easygoing nature. Bonus: he’s a patient photographer, which was a huge plus for me traveling solo—I came away with some great pictures to remember the trip.
If you're looking for friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable guides in Zanzibar, Daudi and Ali are a great choice!

A Rainy but Remarkable Solo Tour: Spice Farm, Stone Town & A Perfect Ending - My solo Zanzibar Stone Town Historical Tour and Spice Farm Tour was an incredible experience, even with the rainy weather!
The day began at the Spice Farm, where I was welcomed with warm smiles despite the drizzle. Walking through the lush, rain-soaked plantation was a unique experience— the earthy scent of wet soil mixed with the rich aromas of cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg made everything feel even more vibrant. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the history and uses of each spice while letting me touch, smell, and even taste them fresh from the trees. Despite the rain, the enthusiasm of the local farmers and the fun demonstration by the "Spice King" kept the experience engaging. I even got to sip on fresh coconut water straight from the source!
In the afternoon, I explored Stone Town, weaving through its narrow, maze-like streets as my guide shared the deep history of Zanzibar. From the bustling Darajani Market to the imposing Old Fort and the iconic House of Wonders, every corner of the town had a story to tell. Visiting the former slave market was especially moving—it was a powerful reminder of the island’s past. The rain only added to the atmosphere, making the historic buildings and carved doors glisten under the soft light.
To wrap up the perfect day, I enjoyed an amazing meal at Silk Route, one of Stone Town’s most popular restaurants. The warm ambiance and rich flavors of Indian cuisine made for a delightful dining experience. The butter naan, flavorful curries, and fresh seafood were a perfect way to end the journey. Sitting by the window, enjoying the view of the harbor, I soaked in the last moments of Zanzibar’s charm.
With a full heart and a satisfied appetite, I made my way to the Zanzibar Express ferry, taking in the last glimpses of the island as I sailed back to Dar es Salaam.
As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated the personal touch of the tour. My guide Ali, tailored the experience to my pace and interests, making it feel immersive and personal. The combination of the spice farm’s natural beauty, Stone Town’s rich history, and an unforgettable meal made for a 5-star experience.

Great Zanzibar experience - The guide and the owner of the company are very patient in answering all the questions I have during the trip. Stuffs sold at the spice farm are not cheap. You can find cheaper ones else where.
