The tour then continues to the local community spice farm which is 25 minutes of drive from Stone Town and here travelers will learn more of the reason why Zanzibar is referred as a Spice Island.
Travelers will explore spice plants and fruit trees, they will learn how fruits and spices are grown, harvested and even used as for cooking or as medicines.
Travelers will also have an opportunity taste tropical fruits and experience the coconut climbing practiced by local guide from the farm.
