Highlights

Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve - Full Day Game Viewing

Selous Game Reserve - Leaving Zanzibar airport at 07h35 with a domestic flight, arriving at Selous Mtemere Airstrip at 08h20, you will be received by our safari guide.

Straightaway, you will start a safari game drive exploring the game-rich areas in the park, driving through the savannah and along the river and lakes. Picnic lunch at lunchtime in a beautiful location with a clear view of the park. After the lunch break, you will proceed with your journey sightseeing the African bushes; later in the evening, drive back to the camp for rest, dinner and overnight.

Nature walks, Boat Safari, Hot lunch & Departure to Zanzibar

Selous Game Reserve - Guided bush walks are entirely different in Selous, sightseeing the miombo woodland environment with your guide. The walking safari is an exciting opportunity to get close to nature and the best way to learn the intricacies of the African bush. Walking along the firmed trail through the African bushes is entirely different from game drives; being on foot brings about a new way of appreciating the natural environment.

After enjoying breakfast, depart for a boat safari along the great Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles and birds. You will return to the camp for hot lunch and relaxation.

At around 15h00, pack your bags and say farewell as you depart to the airstrip for your domestic scheduled flight to Zanzibar.

Best experience! Thanks Filex! - It was an absolute dream! Filex was a great guide. He always took our wishes into account and did everything he could to give us two wonderful days. It was our first safari and we really enjoyed it. We can only recommend it to everyone! Be sure to stay one night. The accommodation was a dream. We were in the middle of the bush and got to know the culture. Filex - thank you for your time and your information about the park. I would do it again anytime! ♥️
