• Bochali - The tour begins in Bochali, a charming small village perched on the hill behind Zakynthos city. During the Venetian era and the years that followed, it was the aristocratic district of both the city and the island. Today, it still preserves elements from that time. From Bochali, enjoy breathtaking views of Zakynthos Town, the port, the azure Ionian Sea, Skopos Mountain, the Gulf of Laganas, and Marathonisi Island. To the left of the central village square is the church of ‘Chrysopigi’ with its tall bell tower. There will be an hour-long stop here for photos. A walk along the cobbled narrow street leads to the entrance of the Venetian castle of Zakynthos and the picturesque church of Agia Paraskevi.
• Zakynthos Town - From Bochali, proceed to the Dali Restaurant for a delightful multi-course dinner featuring Mediterranean cuisine crafted by an award-winning chef. Each dish is selected with care and taste, promising an unforgettable culinary experience. The menu includes a salad, a main course, a delectable dessert, and a glass of wine or ouzo!
• Solomos Square - After dinner, enjoy an hour of free time to explore the enchanting city of Zakynthos, starting at Solomos Square. This main square is named after Dionysios Solomos, Greece’s national poet, who penned the national anthem, ‘Hymn to Liberty’. Take a leisurely stroll through the old city and market, surrounded by neoclassical buildings and vibrant cafes, and visit Alexandrou Roma Street, a popular shopping area with a variety of boutiques, local shops, and artisanal offerings. Also, explore the square of Saint Markos with its namesake Catholic Church and bell tower. As the evening concludes, meet your driver at the Dali Restaurant to ensure a safe return to your accommodation.
