Amazing day in Zakopane and around - Amazing trip! I went with my son and we both had great time. It was enough to see everything worth seeing. Our tour guide, Artur, was very knowledgeable and friendly, answering all my questions- and I had many of them. It was a great day! I really recommend Visit Polen and Artur!

Zakopane tour 16 July 3024 - Mike was a happy friendly guide, very organised and informative so was a very pleasant day for all of us. Two stops before zakopane, 3 hours free time, visit to church and enjoyed listening to music on return to Krakow.

Great views. - It was an amazing trip, my favourite part was the main reason of this trip which was Zakopane. I think other parts of the tour could be skipped, nevertheless it was nice. Smoked cheese was amazing. And our driver Daniel was lovely too, gave some recommendations for food etc. Got us there and back safely.

Beautiful views, amazing trip! - The journey was comfortable and we made a few stops before Zakopane. We saw the wooden town and then stopped for some polish vodka & cheese at a hut. The views were breathtaking. We spent most of our time at the top of the mountain after taking the funicular (super easy & quick ride), plenty of places for food and drinks reasonably priced. There was also a gravitational slide at the top which was cheap and looked super fun! We stopped before a drink or two and walked around the markets at the top before walking around the stalls at the bottom. We bought a chimney cake (a must if you're in Poland!) the town was nearby and had plenty to do but we didn't get a chance to walk in. Would definitely recommend this trip 100%!

Great First Time Day Trip to Zakopane - This tour fit a lot of great stops into a day trip. The cheese and vodka were tasty. The view from the Gubałówka was incredible. I wish we had more than 3 hours to explore Zakopane, but like the tour guide Mateusz said, there is a lot to do, and we might just have to come back. The bus seats were a tad tight for taller folks, but overall comfortable for our group of 6 thanks to climate control, which was appreciated on the warm day. Mateusz had deep knowledge of the points-of-interest and our driver Piotr was good.

Dissapointed in crowds & tat for sale - Travelling to the Highlanders houses, cheese tasting with vodka was lovely but we were disappointed when arriving to the beautiful Tatra mountains, we couldn't get away from all the commercial stuff for sale- there was so much of it. We wanted to walk amongst the beauty of mountains but couldn't escape the tat, noise & crowds. Such a shame.

OK for a few hours but not recommended for a day trip - It was busy day out with a driver who picked up myself and 6 others, so we were in a comfy minibus. The drive was absolutely fine, the downside was Zakopane itself. It’s incredibly tourist busy and crammed with small markets below the cable cart up the mountain - all of the markets are full of the same and are mostly kids knock-off toys and not authentic Polish goods (it reminded me of a day trip to Blackpool or Llandudno in the early 2000’s). The cable cart up the mountain was a short and comfortable journey. At the top, there are a few restaurants, snack and ice cream bars. You could walk for miles at the top looking at the shops but again, they were full of crap souvenirs or kids toys. You also found lots of old arcade games (not as in vintage old, as in sun damaged and old penny machines). The view is good, but again, it’s hard to go up to the top to admire the view when there’s so much tourist trap stuff around you. In Zakopane itself there are numerous places to eat but they’re either expensive authentic Polish food or cheap Pizza/Kebabs. OK for a Quick Look around for a couple of hours but wouldn’t spend a day here.
