brilliant Sunday out - I took this tour on 10th December with very cold weather and a mass of snow in the country. Luckily for me I was the only taker. Goran, my guide was so informative about Croatia. He has a Master's in history and his knowledge of middle Europe and the Balkans is second to none. Above all, he was great company. In Varazdin local guide Herminia took us around. The baroque cemetery, the castle, the 17th /18th century streets and churches. She told many legends about the city. Goran took me on to the magnificent castle at Trokoscan where it was freezing cold. And he dumped me in Zagreb near my hotel. I can't praise the organization enough. Five stars.
