Unimaginable Beauty - Plitvice & Rastoke day trip from Zagreb - Our day with Luka (guide/driver) was nothing short of amazing. It was probably about 2hrs to get to the national park from Zagreb, but we first stopped in Rastoke to visit their waterfalls & greet a coffee (& WC!). The falls at Rastoke were actually recommended by a previous guide & we were excited to see them. Plitvice is almost indescribable … it is gorgeous & beautiful; one of our tour group members commented that she “was running out of adjectives to describe it!” Our group was 8 + Luka our guide. We had couples from Portugal, India, Canada & the US. The forecast was for rain the whole day; it didn’t matter. Dress appropriately — good shoes are a must! You’ll walk on dirt/mud paths and lots of wooden paths. It might’ve been more beautiful in the rain! There is also a lot of walking, but manageable and nothing too hard. We walked about 12 km total + took the boat across one of the largest lakes & the bus back down.

Mesmerising falls and lakes - It was a good daytrip with perfect weather. Early May, the waterfalls were full with water and the forest was newly green and the color of lake was emerald green. It’s endless natural beauty. Bus up, stroll down and calm boat trip was what’s expected, very easy and pleasant walk. I took the big bus and via Rastoke, the trip didn’t feel boring because of the short break. Our guide was very informative, helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Jawdropping Experience with Expert Guide - Honestly, look at this review only. Sara, you were absolutely incredible. As a solo traveler, you want to feel welcome and this was nothing short of excellence. The organization, professionalism, everything. What an incredible experience. If I can suggest you go between end of April to end of May, please listen. The lines around the park can be bad in summer. Spend the money. Its all worth it. No regrets. AMAZING DAY! Thank you Sara!

A must see! - We just finished the tour with our amazing guide, Eva! She was so friendly and gave us so much great information not only while at the park, but along the entire drive there. Pickup was at our hotel and the drive in the van was very pleasant. You will be hiking through the beautiful Plitvice National Park so dress accordingly with proper tennis or hiking shoes, as there are some spots that are wet and many uneven paths/stairs. We were lucky enough to go on a sunny day but being a light water resistant jacket as there are spots that can get a little chilly and potential for rain. This tour is DEFINITELY worth every penny! Thanks Eva!

Amazing day, amazing tour guide, super highly recommend - Amazing experience and an overall great day for the whole family. The national park is hard to describe in terms of natural beauty. Our tour guide - Marko, was great - he gave us really good overview of Croatia, culture, history, cuisine, geography. He also made really good suggestions about restaurants and things to do in Zagreb on Easter weekend including a visit to the mountains via the cable car. Marko was very funny, positive and made the whole day even better. He led the group through the lakes with a good pace that was suitable for everyone, with enough stops for catching up, photos, etc. Highly recommend the trip. We also had really good communication with viator including suggestions beforehand on getting food for a picnic from local bakeries. Overall amazing trip and really worth the money

Unmissable - A visually stimulating encounter with nature. Plenty of walking, mostly on wooden walkways, shallow steps and stoney paths, but worth it for the scenery. Need to be fairly mobile to cope with a few hours walking and upward paths from certain waterfalls - but plenty of rest opportunities and a boat ride to break things up. Great guide. Really understood the different needs and fitness of his group. The exceptional scenery and decent weather made this one of my favourite nature tours ever.
