Great day with amazing local people - Such an amazing experience! Our tour guide’s knowledge of the area was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for him. The winery served us great food and great wine that we ended up purchasing to be shipped to us.

Lovely afternoon excursion - highly recommend - Fabulous tour with Tom today. The driving distance is relatively short (30 - 40 mins) which gives ample time for exploring the beautiful hills outside of Zagreb. The wine tastings were amazing, generous, and accompanied by superb cold cuts, cheese and breads. The winery owners willingly sat and chatted and shared the wine and food, telling us stories of their family businesses. Tom was an excellent, knowledgable and friendly guide. Could not recommend this highly enough.

Beautiful Area, Tasty Wines, Great Tour Guide - We had a great day with Tom visiting the town of Samobor and two excellent wineries. Tom met us at our apartment and told us a lot about Zagreb and the area that we would be visiting on the way to Samobor. After a quick stop in Samobor for a delicious piece of Samobor cake and cappuccino we headed to the wineries. The tastings were fun as this wine region specializes in sparkling wines, but also produces non-sparkling. We visited two small family run wineries that produced excellent wines. We were able to spend time at each winery with family members discussing wine, the region and their specific methods. The area is beautiful. Tom made sure that we had a fantastic day. We highly recommend this tour!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! - Our first time in Croatia, from Cleveland, Ohio (Me, my husband, and our two adult daughters). Tomislav picked us up right at our hotel for our private tour. He was kind, friendly and so knowledgeable about Croatian history and wine! We would have never had the opportunities without his connections. We stopped in the cutest little town on our way up the hills; it was beautiful! Speaking of up the hills... we couldn't have made it up there without his expert driving. We visited two fabulous family-owned wineries. They were generous with their time providing interesting, rich history of their family stories along with delicious food and spectacular wines. I admit I indulged too much :) But in my defense, we are used to US wineries where a 'tasting' is only 1.5 ounces. Tastings in Croatia are very generous!! We had the best day thanks to Tomislav and all his planned events for us! Thank you, from John, Michelle, Stephanie, and Nicole Secic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great Croatian Wine and countryside - We had a great time on a wintery wine tour. We were met at our hotel by Tom who was a great guide. Throughout the tour he presented historical and practical knowledge of the region in a kind and entertaining way. We enjoyed the brief stop in Samobar for Samobar cake that was a great start to the day. From there it was a drive through the mountains to reach two wineries. The first server lovely natural wines and sparkling wines. These were served with a large spread of homemade sausages, cheese and bread. The second location was smaller and even more intimate, where we drank and chatted with the owner. Tom was a great host and we loved seeing the quiet countryside and tasting the regional delicacies. I’d book again!

Great day trip - This was terrific! Tom (Tomislav) was a genial host, and a quite expert driver to boot. (Some of those roads we were on were _really_ narrow!) The two wineries we visited had excellent wines, and I wish we had been able to purchase to bring home to the USA. We also visited Samobor, with a nice little hike up to a 13th-century ruin. Definitely recommend!!
