These two Dalmatian cities, Zadar with its Neolithic origins and Šibenik established by Croatians, will each amaze you uniquely. Zadar is situated on a peninsula, while Šibenik lies at the river’s mouth. These urban areas have been continuously inhabited for thousands of years, rich in Roman, early Christian, early Croatian, and medieval cultural heritage.
