Great experience - Very well arranged tour, guide Karlo was very nice and kept pace with each member of the group. Kind also to offer taking pictures. The timing and tour hours were also well managed. Recommend taking path C to all visitors, covers all aspects of the park and not so difficult.

Beautiful - Great tour! Very clear, everything points to itself. Super nice guide (Tamara), spontaneous and knows everything about the Lakes💪 The travel time to the Plitvice is not so bad from Zadar, you drive through such a beautiful area😍 lReally recommended!!

Beautiful place but duration of tour was less than expected. - The tour of Plitvice lakes was OK and the weather was great - sunny but cool. The guide was friendly, gave clear instructions and did a good job taking us on an alternative route when we were informed that a boardwalk we were planning to take has just been closed for safety reasons. It seems the tour only takes visitors to the lower lakes only. I chose this tour because my plan was to travel to Zagreb and it was mentioned that that my luggage could be kept on the vehicle, and I could be dropped at the bus station. I therefore booked my bus ticket for 5.15 pm as the website stated that departure of the tour from Plitvice Lakes was at 4 pm. On arrival at Plitvice, I was surprised to be told by the guide that departure was at 2 pm and that apparently the 4 pm departure was seasonal. The website also mentioned 4 hours tour plus 2 extra hours. This was not the case. The bus stop is actually just opposite the entrance and when the tour driver showed me the bus stop at 2 pm, he informed me that there is a left luggage facility near the entrance. This turned out to be correct and free. I therefore talked to reception, left my luggage and re-entered the park and visited the upper lakes on my own rather than hang around idly for 3 hours. I had to rush at times to make sure I do not miss the bus, but it was very much worth it. The other, slight, inconvenience was that although the meeting point was in Zadar old town very close to where I was staying, we walked a good 15 minutes well outside the old town to catch the coach for the tour and I had to carry my luggage all the distance. Had I been aware of all these factors, I would have looked at all tours, irrespective of left luggage facility on the vehicle, before making a choice. Overall, the guide was fine, Plitvice is very beautiful and unique, but the duration of the tour was 4 hours instead of the 6 hours mentioned.

Must-go Lake - Excellent services and need to more time to really enjoy all. Best to book a night stay thought falls are not spectacular like Nigara Falls in America but is a good hike out.

Awful transportation experience - The arrangements made to visit the park were great but we had a very bad experience with our return transportation. We had selected pick-up/drop-off at our hotel and the pick-up went fine. On the return, the bus pulled over somewhere (I don’t even know where) and we were told everyone had to get off the bus (no warning that this would happen). We and a few others who were also supposed to be dropped off at their hotel were all confused as to what was happening. Eventually the guide told us to walk over to where there were some vans nearby and his colleague would help us. He pointed to an area with multiple vans and groups of people and no clear contact person and then left us. We walked over and it was extremely disorganized and uncertain. The van drivers weren’t sure who they were driving and did not speak English. They spoke amongst themselves for a while trying to figure out what to do with us and other groups of people. Eventually, they crammed us into one van in which one person didn’t even have a seat and had to sit on the floor! The van was in very bad condition - struggling to start and stop. It did not feel safe. The van was making random stops, dropping people off at restaurants. Eventually the driver stopped somewhere and indicated it was our stop. We were dropped off and had no clue where we were. Thankfully, a friendly couple was able to direct us towards our hotel and we walked to finally make it there. An upsetting end to what was otherwise a great day.
