• Zaanse Schans - Learn about traditional Dutch wooden shoe making and watch a demonstration of how clogs are crafted today. You can purchase wooden shoes, clogs, and other souvenirs at the wooden shoe factory.
• Jacobs Hoeve Cheese Farm by Henri Willig - Visit an authentic Dutch farm with cows and calves. You’ll receive an explanation of how the Henri Willig farm produces cheese from the milk of their Jersey cows, including a demonstration of their automatic milking robot. Afterward, enjoy tasting their special Gouda cheese, with over 30 varieties available to sample for free! Cheese is also available for purchase, and they offer shipping if you don’t have enough room in your suitcase.
• Volendam - Explore the charming and famous Dutch fishing village of Volendam. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the top fish restaurants in town, buy fresh Dutch waffles, or stroll along the famous dike to see Volendam’s picturesque harbor. Souvenirs are also available for purchase.
