Very experienced with all related all the tour (time management, dealing with people, very respectful & clear with our daily routines & activities, plus he is a great cook!). fun trip on the west coast in australia - The places we visited were great, tons of nature every day, the best sunrises and sunsets. We got picked up on time and took off with our new house on wheels, the white truck. Micheal was the best tourguide: Young, wild organized. Our day was full of adventures, we saw as much as we could and listened to interesting history and life stories. He always took very much care of us, ran back up to get more water, looked for everyone to be safe, he had such a positive and happy attitude which made the whole bus laugh every single morning. Only good vibes, jamming to the music in the front seats and waving to passing cars. Bus rides were quite long and bumby not the most comfortable, sometimes just with a few photo stops. It’s not a luxury tour, frogs and spiders in the toilet while camping, no shower on one day or distances without service. We were busy from packing up at 6am until arriving for sunset, then making dinner and enjoying evenings together. Accommodation varied from 10 bed dorms to 2 person tents and single swags. Some of our favorite memories were watching the stars every night, making smores over the bonfire, cooking with the team, sunset nights by a lighthouse or on the beach, going abseiling (optional). Some tours are not included in the price, for example snorkeling with manta rays or whalesharks, glass bottom boat… Other extra expenses could be spent on good coffee, roadhouse food or any souvenirs. We spend our day on the beautiful beaches, shell beach, coral bay or in the nationalparks where we did quite a few rocky hikes, which are really fun with the most beautiful landscape but you needed quite some level of fitness. If your a geologist definitely go for the west coast australia. Our tour guide put so much effort in to make this trip as memorable as possible, cooked a 5 star gourmet greek or mexican food or a barbecue. We had special breakfast like french toast or eggs or pancakes. He hold up his promises by making us bread or getting eggs for those who wanted more protein. And try to prepare yourself for rolling up your wrap every lunch! In every situation our guide came up with a good solution, he was very welcoming and open to everyone so we all quite bonded as a team so work like setting stuff up for food, cooking, cleaning worked out perfectly. And there was still lots of freedom, just taking shifts on cooking or dishes. We went swimming in the best beautiful spots and when we couldn’t swim because of gross water he took his time in the „planned free afternoon“ to take those to another swimming hole. We saw the best parts of the westcoast with such a fun group even tho the age difference was almost 60 years. Everyone was respectful and so encouraging.

Back to nature experience - This trip was busy with pre- dawn starts on 2 days to be able to experience Uluru at sunrise and King’s Canyon the next morning. The hikes are a grade 3, meaning you should train for it if you aren’t normally very active. Also, if you are in the Senior age range then I’d recommend a hiking pole for King’s Canyon. Although the group size was larger than advertised (2 different length tour groups camped and traveled together), the people on my trip were quite responsible in getting packed up and ready to go on schedule, thanks to our tour guide’s clear instructions. A fair bit of participation is required to get meals prepared and cleaned up. The private permanent camps were well set up kitchen wise, though King’s was in need of some repairs. The sleeping bag provided was suitable for the 3 degree overnight temperatures we had. But beanies and extra warm clothing are a must when sleeping under the stars. Overall, I was quite happy with the tour and saw a lot in the 3 days.
