York Dungeon - Absolutely fab....scary but fun too. Totally recommend this attraction.. Loved the story telling...it was very entertaining.

Brilliant Interactive Spooky Historical Fun - Very pleased we booked this experience. Enthusiastic costumed actors guide you through various scary historical moments from York's past. Very entertaining. They involve the customers in differing spooky scenarios from one room to the next. Lot's of laughs throughout the tour. Really excellent all round, great idea and well executed.... ;-)

Fun for all - Family of four, two adults two kids aged 13 and 8, we all really enjoyed the dungeons. My 8 year old had a few jump scares but wasn’t terrified. But was more amused and just taking it all in, the acting was brilliant. Made even more funny that my partner kept getting picked on for all the tasks. 😆

A thousand laughs and screams. - My son and I strolled into the Dungeon. We were amazed at how immersed we were in the experience. This is a must for anyone visiting York. The Dr.'s assistant will take good care of you...and the Grave Resurrectionists' wife will see you home from there. Don't be afraid to be tortured, it's fine...completely fine.

Geat scary experience - This was a great experience. Great fun was a really enjoyable couple of hours. The characters were fabulous and funny. The special affects were excellent. Highly recommended.

Perfect family treat for older kids - We had a fabulous day in York dungeons yesterday it’s so hard to find family days out as your kids are heading into their teens but this is perfect! Brilliant mix of jump scares and comedy the actors were some of the best I’ve seen! Extremely well run show and thanks to Sean for taking the time to talk and reassure us we wouldn’t have gone in without you and look what we would have missed! Went with teenage son who had also visited London dungeon and said this was even better! Thanks York Dungeons see you again soon!

It was the best thing I have ever, done the actors were brilliant and were so funny. It was very interesting to learn about yo - I think that it was very good i loved it very much there was lots of scary things, I did not get scared once. My photos are on my wall.

Ok - Not as good as the one in Blackpool. For £111 for 2 adults and 3 children I expected it to be a lot better. I feel it could be more interactive and more malls of the past as it claims to have

Overpriced and disappointing - At the cost of £66 for 1 adult and two children what a disappointment. I visited a few years ago and the experience was way more intense and scary. Whike thé staff themselves were good all you done was stand in smelly rooms watching actors say their stories regarding the theme. It was quite boring and certainly not worth the extortion amount of money for 30minute or so experience. Please do not pay this amount. We paid on the day expecting a very remarkable experience. The Dungeons need to lower cost or employ more staff for more scares and jumps. My teenage children thought it was rubbish and said they would never go back.
