Brilliant start to... - Brilliant start to finish! Mad Alice was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. She went out her way to make everyone feel included.

A fun, gruesome and macabre night with Bloody Alice!!! - Honestly, the best thing I did in York! Thank you Mad Alice for an absolutely amazing night, learning about York's macabre history. My friend and I absolutely loved this walking tour. Alice was so welcoming, making sure to learn everyone's name; a feat indeed when the group was 20-30 people! She took the time throughout the entire tour, to engage with us all, asking where we were from and throwing in facts that might pertain or be of interest to us. I usually hate big walking tours, feeling like you can never hear the guide or you miss seeing things amongst the crowd but Alice's tour was very well thought out and executed. She always stood on steps or park benches to make sure she was above eye level or would have us move to quieter locations or stand in two rows either side, so that everyone could hear and not have an impeded view. I really appreciated the effort she made for us all to have an amazing experience! The subject matter is also deliciously gruesome but Alice has a way of making it come to life...she is a born performer and a York local through and through! She was clear, animated and above all passionate. There was not a peep in the crowd, we were all transfixed! Thank you Alice again for the best bloody night!

Really fun! Definitely recommend - My daughters and I really enjoyed the experience. It was fun and we learned a lot about York that we didn’t know. Mad Alice was a great tour guide and made the experience even more memorable!

BEST TOUR IN YORK - Did the Bloody Tour of York twice now and must say I will go again. Mad Alice runs you through the town with great stories and a lovely sense of humour We were all impressed that she'd remember every person's names within seconds and doesn't forget them through the entire tour!! HIGHLY recommend and looking forward to the next one!

A must if you are staying the night in York. - What a fantastic bloody tour of Yorks dark underbelly of history. Mad Alice is superb, her delivery and wit is enthralling . She has a fantastic memory for names and makes the tour very inclusive and engaging. Thank you.

Amazing Tour! - Amazing tour!! It was great to hear so many stories about the city we live in. It's a must when visiting and living in York.

First time ghost tour very good - Met at 8pm and tour lasted an hour and half. Mad Alice was wonderful entertaining spoke to everyone one on tour remembering our names throughout the tour. Very knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed this activity.

Somehow even better than expected! - I knew this would be fun. The reviews were really high and I figured the stories would be entertaining. But what really made the evening was how great Mad Alice was. She delivered every story with humour and was super charasmatic. Her knowledge and memory was next level impressive. We couldn't believe she was able to remember every name on her list and flexed her skills throughout the tour by referring to everyone in our group by their name every time. It was very cold this night and she was unfazed by the elements. A true professional throughout.
