York Ghost Bus Tour - Third time we have done it with the family. Always a good laugh, particularly at this time of year. Updated jokes helped.

Great! - John and Bob were great last night. Really enjoyed it. It was good fun a little cheesy and a laugh. Would highly recommend. Please bring cash to give a tip. We wanted to leave one last night but didn’t have any change on us.

Informative guide with a comedy kick. Great value 👌🏻 - Finished off a fabulous day around York with the Ghost Bus Tour. Was absolutely brilliant. John Doe (🤣) was a brilliant guide/host and Bob the driver got us around (Just). Informative with a comedy punch. Worth every penny. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Fun evening after a day of walking - The host performed well. Bob, the driver, pretended to learn how to drive the bus and the jerking made me a bit motion sick. Cool bus from 1968 - double decker - moisture in the window made it hard to see both sides. Well laid out for a tour bus and nice for families with older kids. The video stream on board was choppy. But both the tour guide and Bob the driver did their best to entertain us and make it fun and tell us quite a few stories. It was very nice to sit in the bus after a long day of walking and the guides descriptions were not too gorey so older children could enjoy it.

Not as such a scenic tour - Wicked old school bus and the driver Bob was a great laugh. Windows could do with a clean and antifog so can actually see what's going on. John Doe seemed knowledgeable but could improve his entertainment skills when he runs out of things to talk about.

Good but not great. - Was good but not great. I got the feeling that Frank who was the conductor for the evening was quite new. He shouted so loud that we couldn't always understand him. Bob the driver appeared at one time banging on the windows but once he had banged on one the scare factor had gone. The same with Frank. He seemed to think that the best way to scare people was to suddenly shout 'boo' at someone as he walked by them but after the first couple of 'boos' everyone was expecting it. Yes it was funny at times, and as I said it was good but it could of been a lot better, with a lot more to it.

Dull - Went on the last trip of the night. Having read reviews I was expecting something informative funny and fun. It wasn’t. The conductor tried hard with some poor material but the whole thing was cheesy and the technology was very sketchy and intermittent. This was a real opportunity to amuse and educate which was lost

TERRIBLE - DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP - BEWARE - DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP - Told to arrive 15 minutes before trip on 21st November 2024, so arrived at 7.15pm ready for 7.30pm. Bus didn't arrive until 7.45pm and it was a freezing cold night. Massive queue. Managed to get a seat. 10 minutes later (before setting off) driver announced the brakes were binding so couldn't do the trip and asked us all to get off. Said we would all get a refund or we can rebook. Unable to rebook as we were going home the next day. Arranged refund. As of today 16.12.24 still no refund despite chasing several times. Only response we get is refund request has been initiated and it will take some time! What does that even mean?! USELESS!
