Very nice evening outing - Very nice evening outing and interesting to get a view of York from the water. Just the right length. Chloe, the guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. Do pay attention to the departure point because for us it was at King’s Staith, not at Kendall Bridge where the boats dock and the advertisements are going.

Excellent way to see a different side of York. - Lovely cruise with great commentary by Rathi. His voice was "to die for" according to my lovely wife. Clear, funny and informative. Boat was fine. Highly recommended.

Ouse River Cruise - We did a privately chartered boat ride. The event was for work colleagues and was a massive success. We had a great time. The process of booking was very easy. We were sorted out by Kirsty who was really efficient and provided excellent customer service. On the night we were looked after by Skipper Fraser and Tom and Heather - all three were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend booking an event like this for a party or work event. It was a lot of fun. We will book be again in the future.

Enjoy the tranquility of the River Ouse - My wife and I joined the last York Floodlit Evening Cruise of the season, which despite the cold weather, we had a very enjoyable relaxing cruise, watching the river go by. We saw York in a different light, if you pardon the pun, as we sipped our Prosecco to the chorus of birds singing. The cruise encouraged us to walk and explore the riverside the following day. The Captain and crew member made us very welcome. After a day walking this is what we needed. Thank you City Cruises

Evening Cruise - We actually went on the evening cruise, it is really just a ride up and down the river. There was no commentary whatsoever and the doors were open the whole time so it was freezing and the music needs to be a little more upbeat it was a bit depressing. You get a glass of prosecco on boarding.

Ok for someone with slight mobility issues. - This is a good ,especially when the weather is warm. I would say the commentary could have been better. It was boring & felt it was being read word for word , from a script. It would be nice to have had some interaction with guests. For someone with slight mobility issues, I found it relatively easy to board the boat. We got our tickets online and it was really easy . If you order a drink, you collect it from the bar.

Underwhelmed ! - Nothing unfortunately very dissapointed. More references to the York buildings which were along the riverside. Less attempts at humour more facts would have improved our experience.

Poor - waste of time - Pretty boring, no sights to see, just one end of the river to the other. Save your money & walk round York instead. All you see are houses alongside of the river and a few pubs.
