Dog Sledding in Yellowknife NT Canada - My husband and I had a blast mushing the dogs. We had a mushing lesson with Anna and she was very thorough. We got to spend time petting and talking with the dogs before and after the run. Anna had an assistant Max who helped lead the runs too! He was our guide and took time to take our pics with the dog team. Dog sledding was a dream cone true. We only wish the run had been longer or we could have extended our excursion fee to do a longer run with different dogs as to give them rest. Overall, it was a very cool experience.

Do it! Don't hesitate to book it! Dogs very well taken care of! - We booked this experience using Tripadvisor and Yellowknife Tours gave us a pickup time right away, and she was there waiting at the lobby much earlier than the posted time! We felt bad if the passengers in the shuttle were waiting for a long time. We were then shuttled at the kennels, 20 minutes west of the city, and from there we were greeted by a musher (forgot her name, sorry!) and she explained the safety briefings, made us sign waivers, and split us into two batches with two people volunteering in each batch to self-drive. The rest were assigned a musher with them. I opted not to drive since I take photos and videos of the experience. My sister did and how it works is that the drivers will take turns driving their own sled, Driver 1 drives outbound with Driver 2 as the passenger. It stops at the end, then the drivers swap, Driver 2 drives inbound with Driver 1 as the passenger in the reverse trip. When it was our time, we forgot who we were assigned to, but we ultimately had Crystal, and the dogs were just very energetic and raring to go when it was time to start running. It was such an amazing experience how six dogs can carry three people, even uphill! We patted each dog driving our sled for a great job! When it was the other batch's turn to sled, we were free to explore the surroundings, including their rooftop deck. Refreshments were provided in the cabin. Wi-fi was strong courtesy of Starlink, and it runs in its own power. Pretty cool! After the experience, we can have a different drop off location as per my case, the airport, to pick up our rental car. I would totally recommend booking the husky experience. You won't regret it! (I loved that senior dog wandering around for pats while the musher was briefing us in the cabin)

It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes. - We were so sorry for the inconvenience caused by this mistake, but they were really kind and courteous, and I think that alone was worth the trip to Yellowknife. The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... I could feel that the dog was running hard and having fun. Thank you very much.

Amazing views, amazing dogs, amazing time - We had a great time. The dogs were able to guide the route without us, knowing where to go. Make sure to volunteer to be in the self guided sled. All you have to do is no one to slow down.
