Excellent Tour and Trip Coordination - I reached out to Pro Niti when I the national airline was not taking my credit card to book the flight. I received an immediate response from Moon, who arranged the flight and a semi-custom tour for my wife and me for 2 days during our visit. Moon and the team handled all of the details and kept me informed. They promptly sent me all the information I needed for our eVisa and tips to make the trip more enjoyable. They picked us up at the airport and cared for us the entire trip. The Wyndham Grand hotel was away from downtown but was very comfortable and gave us a great view of Karawelk Palace and the lake. They ensured we visited all of the locations we had on our list and made suggestions for similar places. Our guide, Thar Thar, provided a lot of information about the country and culture and explained the nuances of each location. I would highly recommend Pro Niti Travel for your trip to Myanmar.

Great solo tour of Yangon! - I booked a full day tour of Yangon through Viator, and the process was really simple. Communication from Pro Niti Travel was great, and they answered any questions I had before the tour started. I was met inside the Yangon airport by Chan and our driver for the day, whose name eludes me (sorry!) From there, Chan suggested we start the day at Shwedagon Pagoda, to beat some of the crowd. It was a good call; the crowds were light and it made seeing the entire complex much easier. Chan speaks excellent English; in fact, one of the first questions I asked him was where he studied in the US. He stated that he didn't, and said his accent mainly came from American movies. Awesome. He took me to see the giant Reclining Buddha, to a square in the middle of the city with colonial architecture, and to a nice, serene park with a lake. But maybe the neatest thing was hopping on the train and taking it partway across the city. It's a genuinely authentic look at everyday life in Yangon. Vendors hop on board to hock everything from sweets to water to quail eggs to the passengers, all of whom seemed to be locals. I love getting of the beaten path and seeing what life is like away from the tourist areas, and the train ride was a great example of that. We stopped for a few meals (the fried dumplings were awesome) before Chan and the driver took me back to the airport for my departing flight. Overall, a great experience!
