Above and Beyond Services - I can't recommend Green Season Travel enough. About 5 days prior to my arrival in Myanmar, I decided to find a provate tour to Shwegadon Pagoda and Kyaiktiyo Pagoda as I was only planning to be in Yangon for a day. Jack walked me through the travel permit process and I thought everything was set abd ready. However, in the last minute, one of my flights was delayed, rendering me to miss my connecting flight to Mandalay with no other flights going to Mandalay for 2 days. I ended up having to book another flight but to Yangon and Jack was able to accommodate the entire rearrangement of my itinerary in Myanmar. He knew there was a sense of urgency of me having to be in Bagan the day after my tour in Yangon, so on the night of my arrival, Jack personally took me to Shwegadon Pagoda and served as my guide that night to help with my time crunch. Jack was an excellent guide and helped turn my crazy travel day into a pleasant and stress free evening. The next day, my tour guide, Ye Thu Ya Tun, and my driver, Ko Naing, picked me up for an adventurous day to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, which was a 5 hour drive. They helped make the drive go by quickly, and the drive back was only 3 hours. Ye provided informative facts about the sites, Yangon, and Burmese culture, which gave me a fresh local's perspective. His English was very good and his stories were exciting to hear. Ko was an excellent driver with exceptional driving skills. I was comfortable in the car and was even able to take a nice nap. Adding to Green Season's stellar services, Jack was able to help with contacting my hotel and rescheduling my check-in time as I had no access to the Internet and my online communication was limited. Jack went above and beyond, giving me so much confidence in his services and the travel company's flexibility in working with crazy travel snafus and limited communication. Thank you all so much for your stellar service and hospitality! I highly recommend Green Season for all of your tour, transportation, and service needs while you're in Myanmar!!!

Escape from the City - Since Kyaiktiyo appears in the book "500 Sacred Places of the World", we couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit the day before our regular Myanmar tour. Our driver picked us up promptly at our hotel at 6 a.m. accompanied by our guide Maggie in our own private vehicle. Along the way we stopped for a delicious breakfast at a roadside establishment and the traditional mohinga was perfect. We enjoyed passing local towns and their morning markets in full swing. The Golden Rock is certainly a sight to see and the bumpy truck ride up the hill was lots of fun sharing with the locals and laughing children. On the return trip, Maggie catered to my wife's special request to see elephants at the Winga Baw Conservation Camp....what a beautiful surprise! Lunch at another roadside place was fantastic with a nice farm fresh spread. We even stopped at a fruit stand to taste some of those incredible pomelos. We surely appreciated the special care and personal attention that was given to us on this adventure which was well worth it. Thanks Maggie for a memorable day!

Day trip to Golden Rock - Contacted Jack on very short notice and he accomodated us far beyond our expectations . From picking us up next morning at 6:30am taking us for traditional Burmese breakfast , stopping for a little longer than usual at the war cemetary (so we could pay our respects) , stopping to get photos at a local temple then stopping at a temple in Bago for more photos ,stopping at a little fruit stall to taste the wonderfull fruit on offer , then lunch which, he ensured the restaurant knew we were vegitarian, and we sat down plates of food that just kept coming (the food seemed never ending) , then onto the golden rock, which was absolutely stunning, beyond our expectation. We did not return to Yangon till around 21:30, but not before showing us where Aung San Suu Kyi lives. Jack has a very comfortable people carrier, great air-con, youll need it. He also provided us with bottles of freezing water, and refreshing towels. Jack and James(his co-worker) took excellent care of us and provided us with their excellent knowledge about their beautiful country. A big thank you must go out to Jack and our guide Mr James who stopped at nothing to make this trip a memory we will never forget and to make us want to come back so much to Burma to see the wonders it has to offer and to meet the lovely Burmese people .Its a very long day but absolutely worthwhile.

Visit to golden rock. - It’s worth visiting the golden rock although it’s 5 hours away from central yangon. The truck ride up to the golden rock from the base to the top of the mountain with the locals is certainly an experience of a lifetime. The tour guide is friendly and genuinely caring.

Golden Rock 1 Day Tour from Yangon - We booked the tour on short notice after our arrival in Yangon. Jack and the driver picked us (Family/4 kids) up at our hotel at 6 am. Jack is fluent in English and told us many interesting things about his beautiful country and Buddhist religion. After a pleasant journey in a spacious car with a stop for a delicious breakfast, things got more adventurous after change in an open truck at the foot of the mountain. Despite rain and fog at the mountain top the Golden Rock Tour was an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Highly recommended.

The Golden Rock - Myself and wife contacted Jack at Green seasons travel late in the day on the off chance of booking the trip for the next day. We were surprised to get a call and the tip was booked. We were picked up at 6.30 with a stop out side Yangon for a local breakfast which was amazing. The trip to the rock was smooth and the rock it’s self was great even with s bit of rain, it truly is amazing it stay up as it looks like it could fall at anytime. I would recommend this trip and especially Green Season tours, Jack was a great guy and very informative about the area and whole of Myanmar 🇲🇲 .
