- Yanchep Lagoon Beach - **This spot is typically a photo opportunity and a place to stretch your legs. The stunning sandy beach and crystal-clear blue waters make it a favorite local swimming destination. An offshore reef barrier provides protection and shelter for the lagoon, and public changing rooms and showers are available if you plan to swim. Remember to bring suitable swimwear, goggles, and towels if you wish to take a dip in the Indian Ocean before heading to the Pinnacles. A swim or dive may influence the duration and activities of your day. Consider a 45-minute stop if snorkeling interests you.
- Yanchep National Park - **This is an optional stop, available upon request only. Entry to Yanchep National Park is not included in the tour price and costs $10 per person. The park is home to freely roaming kangaroos and a small number of koalas in an open viewing enclosure.
- Two Rocks - Named after the two prominent limestone formations off the beach, Two Rocks is a charming seaside town with a unique history worth exploring. A giant “King Neptune” statue overlooks the sea and makes for a fun photo opportunity. There are also some intriguing connections to the Pinnacles at the Two Rocks marina, which are part of the stop.
- Lancelin Sand Dunes - **An optional stop for those with energy to spare, the Lancelin Sand Dunes offer a thrilling chance to rent a board and try sand dune surfing! Board rental is not included in the tour and costs $10 per hour per board. Goggles are recommended if it’s windy, as blowing sand can be uncomfortable. If sandboarding isn’t for you, the landscape provides a fantastic photo opportunity.
- The Pinnacles - The Pinnacles Desert is a natural gallery of hundreds of uniquely shaped and colored stones, reminiscent of a Stonehenge. Scientists have various theories about their origins, and you can choose the “Alien” theory if you wish, but the desert will likely leave you with more questions than answers.
Sandy winding paths allow vehicle access through the Pinnacles Desert park, with sidings for temporary parking and photography stops. Buses remain in the car park. This tour offers a more comprehensive experience as you drive into the desert.
Visitors often photograph the Pinnacles Desert as a natural backdrop.
A modern Discovery Centre at the entrance to the Desert features displays of the park’s wildlife and flora, as well as a souvenir shop.
- Cervantes - The seaside fishing town of Cervantes is a 15-minute drive north of the Pinnacles and is the preferred lunch stop for the day. There are two excellent restaurants to choose from, both offering local lobster on the menu. The Lobster Shack is the busier, more well-known option, while the Cervantes Bistro offers a wide menu of seafood, steaks, pasta, and drinks. Please indicate your preference so tables can be reserved in advance. Lunch is at your own expense.
