Shan our amazing driver!! Overall a wonderful experience!! - Thank you ever so much to Shan 🙏 our driver to the snow monkey 🙉 park in Nagano!! Shan was polite and punctual picking us up from our hotel in Shinjuku, and driving us round trip approx 7 hours. My mum and I were very comfortable in the vehicle and safe especially with the unexpected rain and snowy weather conditions! And it was beautiful!! The snow!! ❄️ Shan dropped us off as close to the entrance to the park and we trekked approximately 25min to get there, I recommend hiring some snow boots with spikes as it was a little slippery. The trekking itself had a stunning scenery, tall bamboo like trees covered in snow ❄️ once we got to park we were surprised by the beautiful friendly moneys “macaques” 🐵 bathing in the hot springs!! They were amusing and a delight to watch!! I took so many photos!! Just beautiful 😍 During our trip Shan kindly stopped whenever we wanted to, we ate a delicious miso soup ramen 🍜 nice for the weather we had!! We highly recommend Shan our driver, he was exceptional!! Thanks again Shan 🙏 Overall a memorable and wonderful experience to Nagano snow monkey park 🙊🩵

A Day Amongst the Snow Monkeys - Visiting the snow monkeys and observing them in their environment, and comfort level with humans was and excellent experience. From there to the Zenkoji Temple, learning a bit about the history of it and surrounding structures really made for a wonderful experience. Nomi was a fun guide, very patient and willing to answer any questions we had, it was a very full day. Lunch was tasty, but I will say the sake tasting was a bit of a bust. Highly recommend opting in on this tour.
