It's a lovely and delicious tour! - Love the tour and amazed to taste many local breakfast and experience the local culture with seen how city developed in China. The food we had was absoutely delicious and almost being the comfort food to me (after a big Friday night...). Met interesting people from England and Australia and not to mention our host Li's hospitality. It's a perfect morning for me to spend within this tour!

"Hot" tour - Great tour despite the 40 degrees Celsius, not only for breakfast, but also had the tour guide lots of interesting storys to tell. Tour guide speaks excellent English - therefore everything was understandable and could be followed easy. Anytime again - maybe I will take next time the night tour!

Walk through the Former French Concession & share Shanghainese breakfast. - Fabulous tour exploring the street food and history of the Former French Concession of Shanghai. Topher shared his extensive knowledge of historical buildings, food origins, cooking processes and ingredients. Delicious local delicacies and also a fascinating walk through the wet market. Amazing!! - Had an amazing time with Li guiding our small group to some of the best local places in Shanghai. Would 100% recommend if you're solo traveling and want to try the most food in small(ish) amounts.

Thank you Paul! - Very well prepared, the meeting point was very easy to find (near the subway). There was much and varied food paired with information about the French Concession. Our guide Paul did a great job and provided us with a lot of material for the tour on dishes and locations. The tour should be done as early as possible during the stay to benefit from all the information.

Amazing Breakfast Tour in Shanghai! - Truly wonderful! And so delicious! Everything we ate was amazing and largely came from small, family-run businesses. We also toured a local market. Our guide Christopher was insightful and knowledgeable, experienced and engaging. I highly recommend this tour, and I encourage you to do it right at the start of your trip -- then you can return to these places before you leave! It was one of the true highlights of our trip.

Best food tour ever - This tour is really fabulous. Not only the most delicious street food we've ever tasted but a wonderfully informative walk around the french concession area as well. Our guide Topher was incredibly well informed about the food we tasted and shared the information in an interesting, timely manner. Come hungry as the food just keeps coming.

Fun for everyone! And a lovely way to enjoy Shanghai. 5⭐️ - Go hungry as the food is absolutely fantastic. My family and I toured with Paul, a knowledgeable host who made our morning both interesting and fun. His Chinese is amazing! We had kids with us, and they loved it as much as us bigger kids! Highly recommended tour … even for a 16 year Shanghai resident. Always something new to learn. 👍👍👍

Great way to discover local food! - I was solo in Shanghai on a business trip and booked this tour as I had a morning free. Turned out to be a great time. Was stuffed by the end and went back fully satisfied! Super selection of local places - and I also returned to one of them by myself later. Highly recommend.
