• Xizhazicun - Your personal tour guide and driver will greet you in your hotel lobby and transport you to the Jiankou Great Wall via private transfer. Xizhazi Village marks the beginning of this hiking route towards Zhengbeilou, one of the Wall’s ancient towers. Midway to Zhengbeilou, enjoy a brief walk to a dilapidated tower offering the most stunning views of Jiankou. After a short rest, continue to Zhenbeilou, where you can admire the breathtaking panorama of Jiankou and its basin landscape. Due to dense vegetation, walking along the Wall’s edge is necessary. After passing several towers, you will arrive at the Mutianyu section. Here are three options for descending the Great Wall:
  • Take a cable car (at your own expense) down from Tower 14 to the exit.
  • Continue walking to Tower 10, where you can exit Mutianyu and follow the hill trail to the exit.
  • Continue walking to Tower 6 and descend by slide (at your own expense).
  The path is straightforward, so your guide or driver will meet you at the Mutianyu exit.
  After the hike, enjoy a delicious lunch (optional) at a nearby local restaurant before returning to Beijing.
