Entrance tickets for the Shaanxi History Museum must be reserved online 7 days in advance, as they sell out quickly. If tickets are unavailable when booking within 7 days, the tour will visit the Xi’an Museum instead.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Next, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, constructed during the Tang Dynasty to house Buddhist Sutras brought from ancient India by Master Xuanzang. Finally, return to the hotel.
Xi’an Terracotta Warriors Tour (L)
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - After breakfast, the guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby. The day’s adventure begins with a visit to the renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, discovered by a local farmer in 1974 and now celebrated as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, visit the 600-year-old City Wall, originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty for military defense and now a symbol of Xi’an. Visitors can optionally rent a bike (at their own cost) to ride along the wall and enjoy stunning views of the city.
Muslim Quarter - The tour concludes at the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square and the nearby Muslim Street, where you can explore a variety of local foods and snacks.
Xi’an Mt. Huashan Tour (No Meal)
Mount Huashan - Meet the guide and driver at the hotel around 8 am, then drive approximately 2 hours to Mt. Huashan. Upon arrival, take the scenic shuttle bus to the North Peak Cable Car station and ascend to the North Peak. Enjoy free time to admire the breathtaking mountain scenery. Meet the guide at the mountain’s base, and at 5:00 pm, the driver will be waiting at the exit gate to transfer you back to the hotel.
Please bring food and water for lunch, as there are no restaurants at the mountain top.
Xi’an Departure (No Meal)
Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - In the morning, the guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby. On the way to the airport, stop to visit the Hanyangling Mausoleum, the tomb of Emperor Jingdi from the Han Dynasty. Here, you will see numerous mini terracotta warriors and horses. The varying scales of mortuary objects and facial expressions in the two emperors’ mausoleums reveal their distinct personalities and management styles.
Kind Notice: The Hanyangling Mausoleum closes at 17:30, with ticket sales ending at 16:00. You will be dropped off at the airport by 18:00 at the latest, so please plan your flight accordingly.
