• Xi’an - The driver in Xi’an will collect you from your hotel lobby at approximately 6:50 am and transport you to Xi’an North Railway Station to board the high-speed train G3154 (08:39-10:18) or a similar service to Luoyang, taking around 1.5 hours.

• Longmen Grottoes - Upon arrival in Luoyang, a local guide and driver will greet you at the railway station and escort you to the Longmen Grottoes. This site is a remarkable repository of ancient stone-carving art, featuring over 100,000 stone statues ranging from 2 centimeters to 17.14 meters in height, stretching approximately 1,094 yards along both banks of the Yi River. Located about 12 kilometers from Luoyang city, it is one of China’s three most significant Buddhist cave and rock carvings (2 hours).

• Shaolin Monastery (Shaolin Temple) - The journey will continue to the renowned Shaolin Temple, approximately a 2.5-hour drive, celebrated for Shaolin Kung Fu. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe authentic Kung Fu demonstrations by Shaolin monks. The Shaolin Temple is esteemed not only as one of China’s foremost Buddhist temples but also as the hub of Chinese Kung Fu. Originally built in 495 to house Batuo, a distinguished Indian monk, the temple is now acclaimed as “the Number One Temple under Heaven” and was designated a UNESCO World Cultural & Natural Heritage site in 2010 as part of the “Historic Monuments of Dengfeng.” It is the birthplace of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin martial arts.

• Xi’an - Following the visit to Shaolin Temple, the guide will accompany you to Luoyang Longmen Railway Station for train G1933 (19:08-20:38) or a similar service back to Xi’an, taking approximately 1.5 hours.
