Everything exeeded my high expectation!! - I loved the tour we had for the day. The Terracotta Warriors World Heritage site is magnificent beyond I could imagine. My friends and I are still in awe and cannot stop talking about the experience we had. The Banpo Museum was also an excellent choice to end the long day. The memorable experience we had was greatly contributed by having an excellent company and wonderful tour guide to take care of all of us. I have visited many places in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore for the past five years and have used several tour companies and a handful of tour guides. I consider Noble one of the best tour guides I have contacted with. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and full of positive energy. He made the very hot day of walking around this magnificent World Heritage site beyond enjoyable. The services provided were excellent. Everything was planned professionally, yet relaxing. Noble made us comfortable in every place we visited (even when we visited the terracotta factory and the tea ceremony, they were professional and not pushing us too much to buy anything we did not want.) He gave good advice on the purchase and we enjoyed our small breaks at these places. I cannot thank enough for the great service. I will contact you again if I am in the area! I am sure I that I will come back and visit Xi'an again. Just love it.

The Terracotta Warrior Sites are... -
The Terracotta Warrior Sites are worth seeing but static and take up a very little time . You can not get close enough to distinguish actual features and the second and third pits are far less interesting than the first. On the other hand the Banpo Archeological Museum is in a delightful setting and the travel through time is extremely well managed and informative. We found this far more interesting.
The main thing to be aware of is that tours can be amalgamated as ours was where we were forced to spend time at two factory outlets plus visits to a Palace and an Emperor's Tomb leaving less than 1/2 hour for an extremely rushed visit at our insistence to the Museum.
Xian's Bell and Drum Towers are interesting and the Wall worth more than a quick visit to the Main Gate. Very few wander far from the main gates and this is a pity as the views are well worth it. The subway is easy to use if you press the English sign on the ticket machine and taxis are cheap as long as you insist on the meter being activated.
