Founded in 1988, the Xi’an Tang Dynasty Co., Ltd combines catering and a Tang Dynasty style song and dance show to provide a Chinese cultural experience for the visitors to Xi’an.
The Xi’an Tang Dynasty’s superb song and dance performance and its unique cuisine has earned itself lavish praise from visitors home and abroad. Since the inauguration of its operation, the Xi’an Tang Dynasty has staged a total of 9600 shows with an average of 328 shows annually, and entertained more than 7 million visitors from all over the world sustaining an annual growth rate of 8.5%. The Xi’an Tang Dynasty has now become a must-visit place for the world leaders, and visitors to Xi’an from both home and abroad.

The Tang Dynasty was the most influential period in Chinese history. The Tang Dynasty Xi’an is China’s leading Cultural Entertainment Theatre Restaurant. The first Tang Dynasty Music & Dancing Show was performed here in 1988. It was the only cultural show accompanied by a Live Classical Chinese Orchestra. Today, the Tang Dynasty Xi’an is a must-see destination for world leaders and tourists visiting Xi’an from around the globe.

Great show with great organizers - The show was amazing, the costumes, the music and lights were absolutely stunning, but what really impressed me the most was the company organizing this tour: we have arrived late to the show due to our personal fault, so the manager made sure that when we arrived we entered immediately with no delays and after the show they checked in with us to make sure we were ok, such lovely people! 110% recommend booking through this agency!

Beautiful Show - Don’t Miss It! - The show was incredible. With high production values, amazing costumes, dancing, set designs, traditional musicians and drummers. The digital backgrounds were absolutely stunning.
Before the show we met Mr Han at the foyer who was very friendly and helpful. He gave us our tickets and gave us back our money for the Didi (Uber).
We sat at our table and ordered a drink and were mesmerised with the wonderful performance.
The English descriptions on the screen explained the story for us.
My son and I highly recommend this Xi’an must-do!

Well organised, great show! - Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The show was amazing with lots of different acts and talents. The manager was very helpful in arranging transportation for us!

Great show for a night out in Xian - Great value! Only bought ticket to the show (no dinner) and really enjoyed it. Corsen, our contact, was very kind and offered a special hotel pickup as well. The show itself is mostly dancing and live music with a story in the backdrop, which is verbally in Chinese but also explained in both English and Chinese captions which was very easy to understand. About an hour long with intricate costumes, makeup, set design and overall production!

An exceptional experience in Xi’ An - It was a great performance to spend a night out! Loved the storyline, colourful costumes and dance choreography and of course the foods (not so much of the service)! Had a pleasure to receive special gifts from the PIC as first group of customer who purchased from Viator! Highly recommended to all
