- The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Experience the Terracotta Warriors without the hassle of crowded tour buses or slow-moving groups by opting for a private driver. Meet your local guide at 8am in the hotel lobby. Anticipate seeing 7,000 life-sized terracotta warriors arranged in authentic battle formation, buried over 2,200 years ago (recommended visit duration: 2.5 hours with plenty of flat walking). The museum features three original pits: Pit 1 as the main force, Pit 2 as the Flexible Troupe, and Pit 3 as the Command Center. Additionally, there is an exhibition hall hosting various exhibitions periodically. This museum is a treasure trove for studying the history of China’s first dynasty, the Qin Dynasty.
- Xi’an Banpo Museum - As the third attraction option, this museum offers insights into a 6,000-year-old matriarchal clan through the original village site, divided into three sections: living house site, burial tombs site, and pottery-making kilns. Numerous vivid pictures, movies, models, and videos enhance understanding of life during this unique “girl power” era.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Situated in the Da Ci’en Temple (Great Mercy Temple), the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda boasts a history of over 1,300 years. It was once the site where the renowned Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang (Tripitaka) translated Buddhist scriptures, marking the beginning of Buddhism’s spread in China.
- Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - The Xi’an city wall is the only completely preserved city wall in China and serves as a landmark of Xi’an. Spanning 13.74 kilometers, the wall is rectangular and forms a perfect defense system. From atop the wall, visitors can view the moat, arrow towers, watch towers, and the water drainage system.
- Muslim Quarter - Most Muslims arrived in Xi’an via the Silk Road during the Tang Dynasty (600-900AD). They integrated with the local population through study, work, and intermarriage, and have remained here ever since. This area is rich with foreign spices, numerous Muslim restaurants, and various souvenirs.
