You will have a Xi’an authentic local restaurant lunch before one hour drive back downtown for afternoon activities. Your guide and driver will drive you back hotel at end of this whole day tour.
- Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - Follow your guide to climb up to the top of the 600 years old Ancient City Wall, and enjoy around 30 minutes comfortable and quietly walking or rent a bike do 30 minites to 1 hour cycling exercise on the top of the wall. You also will see local people’s relaxation in moat park at the bottom of the Wall.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Big Wild Goose Pogoda is considered as one of the Xi’an History landmarks,a Great Tang dynasty culture relics temple. Your private guide will tell you why the pogoda is leaning, the relationship between the “Silk Road”and Tang, what is the Buddhist philosophy and how today’s China religion condition is. If your visit time is the chanting day, you will see a lot of monks and believers stay out changting in the yard.

Exciting&Fun Excursion to the Terracotta Army - We highly recommend our tour guide Annie. Detailed answer to our questions, very informative and detailed. She backed up her knowledge with appropriate videos and made an authentic food selection for us. Great atmosphere. To our complete satisfaction.

Great choice to explore Xian - An excellent choice for our visit to Xian. Elith was informative about the history and background of the sites we visited. She speaks excellent English and was lovely company. She also smoothly adapted the plan to suit our interests. The driver and car were great. We can highly recommend this company

Good tour with a great tour guide - One of the best tours we’ve received so far on our China trip. Rosa was a phenomenal guide; she was extremely informed not only about the historical sites we visited but also knew a significant amount of Chinese history to further enhance our tour experience. She encouraged us to go to the Silk Road concert as well, which was a life changing experience and a definite must-watch. She also went out of her way to find lunch options that fitted our tastes and even introduced us to a uniquely Xi’an milk tea. Our Xian experience would not have been complete without her!

Xi’an with Rosa! - Great private tour! Rosa walked us through the Muslim Quarter streets in Xi’an and she recommended us the best biang biang noodles spot of the city! After that we saw the Wild Goose Pagoda and Rosa told to us many interesting stories about this place! She has been super flexible and nice with us! The private tour gives you the possibility to tailor Made your experience! I really recommend the tour with her! We had a great time together!

Excellent and memorable tour of X’ian - I absolutely enjoyed my tour. Richard was an amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable about the history of X’ian and the tour sites (The Pagoda, Ciry Wall and Terracotta Warriors) and friendly and flexible. The driver was professional and the car was comfortable and clean. I fully recommend the tour with Richard.

Terracotta army - Very helpful his explanations! Mostly inside the Terracotta Army Museum there are a lot of people and it literally helps you untangle and understand what you see! Very nice Anyway the guide. Very good lunch

An Amazing Experience! - The trip to Xi’an to see the Terra Cotta Warriors is well worth the time. Catherine Lu Tours provides a first class experience. Communication with Lu made me feel very comfortable in using her agency. All of the details were managed very professionally.
Our tour guide was Rosa. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderfully entertaining and experienced guide. During our drive from the train station she provided a very good explanation of why the warriors came to be and how they were found. She provided a wealth of information in each of the three buildings that comprise the museum. We were given ample time to walk around and take pictures of the pits. I didn’t realize that there is an active archeological dig as well as restoration project ongoing at the site.

Great for solo tour! - Agnes was an excellent tour guide. Her background in history and her love for her city made the tour very enjoyable. I was able to relax and rest in between sights and not worry about transportation.
