This isn’t your typical walking tour. Instead, it’s a small group tour conducted via private tuktuk, complete with an endless supply of beer and soda. Your English-speaking guide will take you through the lesser-known areas of Xi’an, where you’ll dine at quaint, family-owned establishments and sample the finest local cuisine that you can’t discover on your own. After a 3-hour adventure, the tour culminates at a local brewery where you can enjoy the town’s only craft beer.

Xi Hua Men Fire Station, located 1 block north of the Bell Tower, just west of the intersection of Bei Da Jie Street and Xi Hua Men Street.

An excellent food tour in the Old Town of Xi’an - We had a fantastic food tour with Ken who was an excellent host. The food was all freshly prepared and delicious. We have done many food tours and this was one of the best. Remember to skip lunch as the portions are big.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had - We were the only people on the tour the evening we went, so we were treated to a private tour. It was incredible. Our guide Diehl was fantastic. Very funny and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent at every place and we left incredibly full. Make sure you don’t eat lunch because you will have so much food during the night.

Best Food Tour in Xi An - Everything about this tour is absolutely spot on! Our guide Diehl was an absolute star, so knowledgeable and nice! The food was stunning and everything had amazing context and explanation to really get to know all the details. Drinks were provided everywhere too!

Brilliant food experience in Xi’an - We had a brilliant time with our tour guide Deihl. Brilliant food, trying a variety of Xi’an dishes and learning about them, the oil splash noodles were a highlight. Travelling around by tuk tuk was fun! Always nice to meet some fellow travellers too! Highly recommended!!

Delicious food, great guides and unique viewpoint on Xi’an - My parents and I had a great time zipping through Xian’s streets and eats with Jialin and Jane. The food at each stop was excellent (personal favorites: the biangbiangmian and dumplings) and the Tuktuk component offered a unique vantage point to observe the city’s street life. Jialin was a great guide, helping us understand the cultural context and history of Xian through its food. Jane was also extremely helpful and attentive to our every need, making the trip accessible for young and old alike. Will be recommending this tour to any other friends passing through Xian!

Delicious food - The Xi'an evening tour was very enjoyable and the food varied and delicious. Our guide Jane was friendly, kind and did her best to ensure everyone in the group ate well and had a good time. She had many stories to tell us about Xi'an and about the food we ate at each stop (there were many!). The tour is perfect for your first night/time in Xi'an so don't miss it.

A Delicious and Memorable Evening in Xi’an! - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Xi’an. We got to taste a variety of amazing local dishes, and I especially loved the Biang Biang noodles — absolutely unforgettable. Touring the Muslim Quarter by tuk tuk was a fun and unique way to see the area, and we learned so much about the city’s food culture along the way.
A special shoutout to our guide Diehl, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Xi’an’s culinary traditions. She really made the experience feel personal and memorable. After the tour, she even shared her WeChat and helped us discover other great restaurants and hidden local gems around the city — above and beyond!
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Xi’an.

Amazing Evening Food Tour in Xi’an! - This tour was such a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely incredible — so delicious and full of bold, authentic flavors that gave a real taste of Xi’an’s vibrant street food scene.
One of the best parts was the group itself — we met some awesome fellow travelers and had a great time chatting and sharing the experience together. It made the evening feel more like a fun night out with friends.
Our guide, Jenny, was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the whole group engaged. The night wrapped up perfectly with a great local beer, leaving us all full, happy, and smiling.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Xi’an!
