Amazing experience, excellent English, worth getting the local guide. - We had an amazing experience with Lily on our half-day tour to the Terracotta Army. The transportation was super convenient and Lily spoke excellent English. She gave us tons of information while we visited the museum, as well as on the way to and from the site. There was never a dull moment. Of course the site was packed as we went in a peak month, but having a local guide made it much more enjoyable and helped find the shortcuts through the crowd. We highly recommend this option for your visit to the 8th Wonder of the World!

Knowledge guide, great tour! We feel like we got our moneys worth and more! - We decided to book a half-day private tour to visit the Terracotta Warriors in order to save time and add convenience, but it ended up being one of the best decisions we could have made! The location of the Terracotta Warriors site is about an hour outside of Xian. We were picked up directly at our hotel by our fantastic guide Betty and the driver. During our drive out to the site, Betty provided historical details about the history of the warriors, the history of China and the history of Xian. Once we arrived at the site ( in air conditioned comfort!), our guide retrieved our tickets and guided us through the 3 main excavated “pits” providing in depth details for everything that we viewed. There is not a lot of English information available on site- but our personal guide Betty spoke impeccable English and was a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of the site and the site’s history. After visiting all of the “pits” we enjoyed a delicious lunch and then headed back to Xian. The Terracotta Warriors site is a must see, but was crowded and the site is not intuitively laid out. We are extremely thankfully that we decided to book this tour. We felt like we had an insider as our guide who made sure we were able to see everything. Totally worth it!

Wonderful! - It was a unique experience and everything was perfectly organized. Ms. Linn is a very friendly and competent tour guide! She not only told me a lot about the history and origins of the Terracotta Army, but also about the history and culture of China and the dynasties. Everything there was simply impressive. The lunch that followed was excellent and I have many beautiful memories of XiAn in my luggage. Highly recommended!

Guide from “Jeff Ning China Tour” met us in hotel’s lobby and after approximately 50 minutes drive we came to this great place. Our tour guide was very professional, knowledgeable, with a pleasant personality. We learned from him a lot about history, discovery of this unique place and he answered all our questions related to subject and more. We’re very happy with our experience thanks to our guide. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime chance to see Terracotta Warriors!

Terracotta soldiers is a must see! - We had a wonderful private day trip experience visiting the must-see Terracotta Warriors in Xian. Crystal was our tour guide and she was wonderful, friendly and funny. I highly recommend her as her English is very good, she was very informative on the history and she answered all our questions. Her ability to adapt to our pace and budget was great. She was always available but also gave us space to enjoy the soldiers, lunch, and taking pictures at our own time. It was really crowded, and you sometimes had to be a little assertive for your space, but seeing the soldiers was great and I think should not be missed when visiting Xian.
