City Wall & Terracotta Warriors
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - In the morning, the driver and English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Xi’an to start the tour with the Xi’an Ancient City Wall. This is the most well-preserved and largest existing city wall in China. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty for military defense, it has now become a significant tourist attraction in Xi’an. You can optionally ride a bike on the wall (CNY45 per person, cost on your own).
Muslim Quarter - Afterwards, the guide and driver will transfer you to the Muslim Quarter, a delightful area bustling with various exotic food stalls, souvenir shops, and diverse visitors.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Next, you will head to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” Located approximately 30 km east of Xi’an downtown, the museum showcases an incredibly high level of sculpture. Discovered by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974, it is now considered the most important attraction in Xi’an.
Xi’an - Then, you will depart for Mount Huashan. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel at the foot of the mountain. You can choose your preferred cuisine or restaurants for dinner at your own expense. The guide can always provide restaurant recommendations.
Mt. Huashan
Mount Huashan - In the morning, visit Mt. Huashan and take a cable car to the North Peak. The guide will provide detailed information in advance, and you will start your adventure from the North Peak. At the top of the mountain, there are several destinations such as Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures, and engravings. You will pass by the Gold Lock Pass where you can buy a golden lock. Placing the golden lock on the iron chains at the Gold Lock Pass is believed to bring safety and health.
On the Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak), enjoy its supernatural atmosphere and beautiful sunset. Then, proceed to the East Peak and the South Peak, and finally arrive at the West Peak. Also, enjoy the fresh air on Mount Huashan. The tour guide will meet you at the North Peak and take the cable car down to the foot of the mountain together.
Xi’an - In the afternoon (around 5 pm), the guide and driver will wait for you at the exit gate of the mountain and then transfer you back to your downtown hotel in Xi’an. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Explore the ancient city of Xi’an, including the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses, one of the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Also, explore Mount Huashan, one of the most sacred mountains in China, famous for its sheer cliffs, ancient history, religious sites and magnificent views. You will also visit the ancient City Wall and the Muslim Street.
- Please be advised that hiking paths up the mountain can be strenuous and dangerous; the hike will take approximately 2 to 4 hours and often involve steep paths and long steps.
- You are suggested to wear comfortable shoes on tour day.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please leave a note when booking if you have any special requirement about the tour, such as diet.
- You will be contacted at least one day ahead of the travel day via email to advise the pickup info. The tour guide will also call you or leave you a message through your hotel room the night before tour about pickup time.
- Offered pickup/drop-off service is available for hotels within 2nd ring road of Xian city. If your hotel beyond the range, please expect it might occur additional transfer fee accordingly.
- Please bring your own food for lunch as you will be on mountain top and restaurants are unavailable.
