City Wall & Terracotta Warriors
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - In the morning, the driver and English-speaking tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your Xi’an hotel to begin the tour with the Xi’an Ancient City Wall. This is the most well-preserved and largest city wall still standing in China. Originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty for military purposes, it is now a significant tourist attraction in Xi’an. You have the option to ride a bike on the wall for CNY45 per person, at your own expense.
Muslim Quarter - Following the city wall visit, the guide and driver will take you to the Muslim Quarter, a delightful area filled with a variety of exotic food stalls, souvenir shops, and a diverse mix of visitors.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Next, you will visit the renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, often referred to as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” Located about 30 km east of Xi’an’s city center, the museum showcases exceptional sculpture artistry. Discovered by four local farmers in 1974 while drilling a well, it is now considered Xi’an’s most significant attraction.
Xi’an - Afterward, you will head to Mount Huashan. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel at the mountain’s base. You can choose your preferred cuisine or restaurant for dinner at your own cost, with your guide available to offer recommendations.
Mt. Huashan
Mount Huashan - In the morning, explore Mt. Huashan by taking a cable car to the North Peak. Your guide will provide detailed information beforehand, and your adventure will commence from the North Peak. At the mountain’s summit, you can visit several sites, including Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures, and engravings. You will pass the Gold Lock Pass, where you can purchase a golden lock to place on the iron chains, believed to bring safety and health.
On the Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak), enjoy the mystical atmosphere and stunning sunset. Continue to the East Peak, South Peak, and finally the West Peak, while savoring the fresh air on Mount Huashan. The tour guide will meet you at the North Peak to take the cable car back down to the mountain’s base together.
Xi’an - In the afternoon, around 5 pm, the guide and driver will be waiting for you at the mountain’s exit gate to transfer you back to your hotel in downtown Xi’an. Wishing you a fantastic day.

Explore the ancient city of Xi’an, including the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses, one of the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Also, explore Mount Huashan, one of the most sacred mountains in China, famous for its sheer cliffs, ancient history, religious sites and magnificent views. You will also visit the ancient City Wall and the Muslim Street.
- Please be advised that hiking paths up the mountain can be strenuous and dangerous; the hike will take approximately 2 to 4 hours and often involve steep paths and long steps.
- You are suggested to wear comfortable shoes on tour day.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please leave a note when booking if you have any special requirement about the tour, such as diet.
- You will be contacted at least one day ahead of the travel day via email to advise the pickup info. The tour guide will also call you or leave you a message through your hotel room the night before tour about pickup time.
- Offered pickup/drop-off service is available for hotels within 2nd ring road of Xian city. If your hotel beyond the range, please expect it might occur additional transfer fee accordingly.
- Please bring your own food for lunch as you will be on mountain top and restaurants are unavailable.
