Wow Impressive Palace - Wow what a wonderful Place to visit! Parking is very straight forward. Ticket booth staff very helpful and informative - shout out to Sally on her customer service skills. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Impressive Palace with so much history. As well as being the birthplace of Churchill (separate exhibition dedicated to him ) we enjoyed very much the various rooms with audio commentary, earphones and unit provided if you require or live guides in each room who are more than happy to answer any questions. Well worth a visit will return.

Magnificent! - Spent the day at Blenheim exploring the grounds and palace. So much to see. What an amazing place! We visited the Royal Crowns and Coronets exhibition, Churchill displays and enjoyed going around the various halls and grand rooms. The gardens and grounds are stunning, extensive, beautifully landscaped and immaculately maintained. The cafe and shop are well run and presented. We had a light lunch and refreshments at Clementine’s restaurant in the grounds where the service was good. All in all a lovely day and would highly recommend.

Could be better - Took a friend to visit the Palace and grounds from a previous great experience . Tickets are for a yearly pass which is great if you live nearby but not great value from only visiting once at nearly £40 . The grounds and gardens are beautiful but the fashion exhibition took over the house and detracted from the views of the furniture in the rooms which was a let down as you can only visit the ground floor room as .it is extra to tour round upstairs and downstairs of the Palace which has to be booked .

Wasps here, there and everywhere!! - Blenheim really a stunning place and well worth a visit. The grounds are stunning. It is quite costly though. We went to the adventure playground which at £7 per person is really quite expensive. I wouldn't mind if adults went free but they don't which I just don't get. One thing that really put a stress on the day was the vast amount of wasps everywhere. It was impossible to eat outside without them swarming. They were even in the restaurant so there was no respite from them. Will probably never go again at this time of year because of them.

Very disappointing food . - We had lunch at the newly opened cafe . We had two tuna and cucumber paninis and a cup of coffee and tea . The paninis were rock solid and you could barely cut them in half . Myself and another lady who I noticed was having the same problem, returned them and got a softer bap . This bap was tasteless and very dry . For the price we paid you would expect a higher quality of food . Very disappointed

Cafe? Avoid..... - You can make your own judgement about the overpriced gift shop but the gift shop cafe is definitely a place to avoid. The young staff were super polite. The seating and environment are not anything special. Cakes etc are expensive. Sadly, our drinks were only luke warm. When ordering I had asked for "extra hot please". When I was served (at the next counter) I asked if the coffee was extra hot. The curt reply was "Its the temperature it comes out of the machine". It was not "extra hot" it was not even "hot". The coffee seems to be made from some headache inducing concentrated product - there was no sign of fresh coffee being used adding further disappointment. Perhaps the supervisor (presumably) who had rocked up at the counter to try to reduce the queue hasn't realised she is working in what is ironically known as "the hospitality industry". We were not the only customers who thought it wasn't up to standard. It can't be that difficult to make a hot drink on a cold winter day - get a grip!

A LOT OF MONEY FOR ADULTS!!! - I went with my sister, niece 5, nephew 3 and my 18 month old (non walking). I thought it was really expensive (£7 for me) for an adult to take a baby in. Neither of us really played so seemed very steep. My niece and nephew loved it. There was no mention of the water play section and needing to wear shoes so make sure you take beach shoes to wear in there. There were a lot of children with wet trainers on as the parents weren't aware of the rule. There is a little coffee shop there with lots of cakes etc but no sandwiches or lunch type stuff which is a shame.

Shaka Khan is not worth going to see - Chaka khan was probably the worst performing artist l have seen ! She was 14 minutes late after a hour change over from the fabulous sister sledge band. She did not care that we were all wet and cold and failed to sing any relevant songs at the start to get us going. Her voice is shot , her backing group drowned her, the sound system produced a smash and smash again group of songs and Stevie Wonder would have told this ‘once’ great artist to stand down. 1000’s of us left after 5 songs - l wonder why!!?

Huge Rip Off - The Orangery (restaurant) is now closed. Last year, although empty, they wouldn’t seat us because we hadn’t precooked online. Kinda explains why they’re closed now. Admission to the Palace was £32.50/person. We passed on that and went to the wonderful gift shop instead. People leaving the palace didn’t look terribly impressed. This year we thought we’d enter the grounds, visit the gift shop and stroll around. Oh, no, they now have booths at the entrance. £22.50/person just to get into the grounds! Not per car, per person. Can you spell rip off? B L E N H E I M P A L A C E.

Blenheim Palace, new children’s play area - Blenheim Palace have removed all of their free play equipment for children. They have installed a new play area which will cost you £7 per person that includes all adults and children over a certain age. This is on top of your either season ticket or admission ticket to the Blenheim Palace Grounds. The play area is not suitable really for any child under the age of three but as they have removed all play equipment it has now left us in a unfortunate position where Blenheim Palace doesn’t have much for children of our age group. Nor would I ever wish to pay for two adults at £7 each and three children at £7 each on top of our season tickets already. Rather disappointing really!
