Lovely experience in November - The staff are friendly and informative allowing us to understand the fish and ecosystem better. We had an enjoyable time and I must say the chief did a fantastic job! Getting the big sized fish is not easy but with the help of the crew, my 10 year old son got the chance to reel in a 9kg barramundi! Thank you for the lovely experience :)

The entire team made the... - The entire team made the experience a great and enjoyable one. The food, the tour and the fishing activities were great. Every detail about the barramundi were clearly explained, allowing us to understand the fish and its ecosystem better. Plus the impromptu ice ball fight with my boy make it an unforgettable experience for him too!

Looking forward to going again. - Great value for money. From pick up to drop off, all staff were very informative, helpful and knowledgeable. Barra lunch was special. Looking forward to visiting again when next in the area.

Barra of FUN - Awesome experience that is fun for people with no fishing skills, and those with fishing skills. Had an awesome time and would do it again on our next trip back. Had a tasty lunch, but the best part was the people that work there. They are awesome and make you feel welcomed, and do their best to make sure everyone has a great time and catches fish. Thank you STAFF!

Barra Fishing - We had a great day with our guide Matt. We did a farm tour, lots of fishing & had lunch. My hubby caught a Trophy Barra & I caught a nice size Barra. A great experience.

A day of fishing. - A wonderful experience with a chance to catch large fish. Great for beginners and very experienced fisherman. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They will help you have a great time.

Fun day out! - We thoroughly enjoyed our Hook-A-Barra experience. Pick up at our hotel was timely (including a phone call ahead to confirm that the driver was on time); our guide on the farm tour was very knowledgeable and others we met were extremely passionate about the business. The fishing experience itself was fun, especially as we were lucky enough to hook several Barra! All staff members were friendly and helpful. All in all, this was a great day out!

Terrific day - Went with friends, picked up from Port Douglas and traveled in aircon comfort with local commentary from our guide. Great fishing experience, ideal for all levels including non fishers. We chose the farm tour and lunch, everything was terrific. Highly recommended

So much fun!!! - Highly recommend! We were served an amazing lunch including sashimi, fried, skewered, fish tail "drumsticks" and fish rolls. Wonderful staff. I cought a 2.6 kilo sample fish. Informative and we fed fish too

Best burra farm fishing experience for young family! - We wanted our children aged 12, 10 and 4 to learn a bit about fish grown in farm and production. They have all enjoyed the thorough explanation of how the burramundi started all the way to it being sold. They also answered all the questions we had and the experience of catching a burra was my 4 yr old daughter's best experience. She wanted to do it again. The food there was also amazingly fresh. I highly recommend family with kids to go on the tour while at Port Douglas to gain some experience and enjoy the good/fresh burra! Thank you Burra!
