Windhoek - The guide will greet you at the airport or any hotel of your preference, and you will embark on your tour journey to Sossusvlei.

Deadvlei - Following a visit to Dune 45, the journey continues to the Big Daddy dunes. This involves continuing on the paved road (approximately 55 km) and driving an additional 5 km into the Sossusvlei area to admire the beauty of this location in the early morning light and enjoy the serenity of the region.

You will explore this distinctive area on foot before venturing into Dead Vlei, with its vast expanse of bleached cracked clay and skeletal camel thorn trees, set against a backdrop of enormous dunes with their ever-changing colors, before returning.

Sossusvlei - Windhoek

Solitaire - After breakfast today, you will drive back to Windhoek. Along the way, you will visit the town of Solitaire, a small settlement near the Namib-Naukluft National Park, which currently features only a gas station, bakery, and cafe. You might want to try the famous apple pie.

On the way, you will take the scenic route of Spreetshoogte Pass. Spreetshoogte Pass (Afrikaans: Spreetshoogtepas, literally English: Spreeth’s Peak Pass) is a mountain pass in central Namibia, linking the Namib Desert with the Khomas Highland.

Upon arrival in Windhoek, the guide will drop you off at your hotel (at your own expense) or at the airport for your departing flight.

Discover Sesriem Canyon, located about 4 kilometers from the Sesriem Gate. It is the area’s second most popular tourist attraction after Sossusvlei. This natural canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River into local sedimentary rock, stretches about one kilometer long and reaches depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet). The name Sesriem, meaning “six rawhide thongs” in Afrikaans, was given by settlers on the Dorsland Trek who needed to tie six thongs together to lower a bucket into the water.
