Not a good time - We did this excursion with Viator about 3 years ago and had a 5 star time. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Unfortunately, that was not the case last week. The only reason why I gave it two stars was because of the views but that didn’t have anything to do with the poor management of the tour. This was overbooked and overpriced for what we experienced. The wading in 100+ temps in pure sun for almost an hour (doing nothing but waiting) got to the point where we just paddled our way across the river to wait in shade. We skipped the cave as the line of kayakers just got longer and longer (in the Sun). Our tour guide was nice but she just didn’t utilize our time efficiently like our first guide did 3 yrs ago. He took the time to take photos of everybody using our cameras. Picking the most picturesque locations in the area. Those photos he took of us are displayed in our wall today. Our guide last week was horsing around with the other guides from the other groups in the water while we watch on. I will not be using this company again and we do at least two of these Arizona/Grand Canyon excursions a year.
