- Emerald Cove - We will kayak up the Colorado River from Willow Beach past the fish hatchery and stop at the Historic Gaugers Station. There we will go on a short five-ten minute hike to a beautiful overlook of the ORIGINAL site plan for the Hoover Dam. We will stop at Emerald Cove or Emerald Cave, or both if you’d like.

- Emerald Cove - We will kayak up the Colorado River from Willow Beach past the fish hatchery and stop at the Historic Gaugers Station. - Willow Beach - We will meet at Willow beach by the dirt kayak launch. We will cover all necessary training and safety procedures while getting you fit with life-jackets. From there we will start our journey to the Gaugers station hike and the Emerald Cove / Emerald Cave
- Colorado River - We will Kayak to the Gaugers station and Emerald Cove and Emerald Cave. We will also see the Willow Beach Fish Hatchery. We can also stop at the Geo Shack and what we call “Adventure Cove.”

A personal kayak will be provided for your use.

Please ensure you bring at least 2 liters of water per person for safety.
We will provide ice water and snacks for your enjoyment.
- We will cover all necessary training. Kayak up to Emerald Cove. Spend time taking pictures in the cove. We can stop and take iconic pictures along the way.

Please park and make your way to the Marina. There are bathrooms there to use before your tour. We will be launching you from the concrete loading docks just south of the Marina building. Look for a trailer with blue circular stickers that say "Adventure Child" on them.

Amazing kayak tour! - The guide Gino was very nice and made lots of fotos so we could have full focus on the trip itselfs.
The weather was not that hot because of clouds but this was ok. The trip was very nice. We made some breaks and could take some food and drinks. After 3.5 hours we were broke and happy 🤣 thanks! Amazing tour!

Unforgettable Kayak Adventure with Gino! - Our kayak trip with Adventure Child to Willow Beach and the Emerald Cave was absolutely amazing! My daughter, my friend Angel, and I had the best time. Gino was our tour guide and he was incredible—so knowledgeable, fun, and professional. He shared so much interesting information along the way, kept us safe, and made sure everyone was comfortable.
He went above and beyond by bringing us snacks and water, helping other people on the trip when needed, and even taking tons of incredible photographs at all the right moments. Thanks to him, we were able to relax and just enjoy the stunning scenery. You can really tell he loves what he does and knows exactly how to make the experience unforgettable.
I highly recommend Adventure Child for anyone looking for a great kayaking adventure. And if you’re lucky enough to have Gino as your guide, you’re in for a perfect day on the water!

Fun times kayaking, hiking and swimming! - Gino and Daniel were amazing guides. They are very patient with kids and social. They were well prepared. Prior to trip they communicated information which was very helpful. They even took pictures for the families and sent the pics through an app so we could enjoy kayaking. The hike, swim spots and Emerald cave were so much fun! Highly recommend.

Willow Beach - It's a great workout. Don't forget the Tylenol. Don't go on a windy day. Strange how going upstream is easier than going downstream.

Impressive natural experience - A fantastic kayak tour on the Colorado River that I highly recommend. Our guides, Daniel and Gino, did a fantastic job and enriched the tour with their experience and local knowledge. Thanks again. The natural experience is truly impressive, and the kayaking itself isn't too strenuous, yet still a challenging experience. A wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.

Unforgettable Half-Day Kayaking Adventure to Emerald Cove - If you're looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience, look no further than Adventure Child's Half-Day kayaking trip to Emerald Cove- it was hands down a great experience!
From the moment we net our guide Cameron, we knew we were in great hands. Cameron was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly passionate about the area. He made everyone feel safe and comfortable, whether it was our first time in a kayak or we were a seasoned paddler. His energy and storytelling added so much personality to the trip, from local history to fun facts about the wildlife and the stunning geology around us.
The paddle to Emerald Cove was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The water was as emerald green as it is in the pictures you see online. The sunlight filtering through the water made it glow a surreal shade of green absolutely magical. We even had time to explore, take photos, and just soak it all in.
What really set this trip apart was the personal touch Adventure Child brought to the experience. Everything was well organized, the gear was in great shape, and the group size was just right. You could tell they genuinely care about giving you a memorable and safe adventure .
💯Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area or Las Vegas locals. Whether you are a nature liver, adrenaline seeker, or just want to escape the crowds and experience something truly special this is the excursion to book!
Huge thanks to Cameron and Adventure Child for an incredible day on the water. Can't wait to come back and do it again!

Fun paddle on the Colorado. - Our guide Daniel was well prepared and fun to paddle with. He brought a selection of kayaks for us to choose from. I needed one with easier entry and exit due to bad knees, the one Daniel recommended worked great. It was hot, Daniel found a spot where we got out and dunked in the river. Very refreshing. And the scenery was great

Cameron was amazing! One adult and four kids under 12. He told fun, possibly true stories along the way. Family loved it. - Our guide Cameron was amazing. He bought snacks for my kids, showed us how to properly kayak. Had fun and interesting stories, to keep morale up. Made it to the cave, a beach and a hike to “Bob’s” house. My kids loved it.

A sublime kayak ride - We had an absolutely beautiful kayak tour (tandem on request), accompanied by the Shawn guide who was very friendly. We can see that he loves sharing his passion for hiking and natural areas.
No paddle, but considering the water temperature (12¢C) it was fine!
The Emerald cellar is very small but really sublime colors...
The guide took lots of pictures in the cellar and on the river, which he sent us nicely that evening.
Also they were accommodating when I wished to change day because of the weather. I highly recommend!
