Awesome guide and experience - Absolutely amazing views! Emerald cave was awesome. The guide was amazing and took care of us. He told us facts about the place and made sure we all had a great and peaceful time. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to get out and away from the strip. Experienced and new people are welcome and he will make sure you know what your doing on the water.

Small group kayak tour was incredible - My wife, teenage son, and I decided to get off the Strip for a day and enjoy some of Nevada’s beautiful nature. From a distance, we had been admiring the mountains all week and were excited to get in our rental car and go for a ~45 minute drive to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area to the kayak launch point at Willow Beach on the Colorado River. At the site, we were warmly greeted by our guide, Eddie. He fitted us for life vests, offered waters for the trip, and gave us quick paddle instructions before heading out. The trip was 4 miles round trip, the 2 miles out went quickly but the wind made the return more challenging (Eddie offered to tow anyone that needed assistance but we endured, lol). As we paddled, we saw big horned sheep climbing the cliffs, bald eagles soaring above, and ducks paddling alongside us. We stopped about a mile into our journey, beached and exited the kayaks. Eddie offered us light snacks (granola bars, chips, fruit) and drinks (water & Gatorade). We declined to swim in the shallows of the calm river so Eddie led us onto land for a short 10-minute hike). He educated us about some of the plants and rocks during our hike to the ruins of house that was home to an old river monitor (gauger) who would assess the Hoover Dam’s effect on the river sediment and condition. Eddie told us of how the man would use a cable car to pull himself across the river to the work station each day to perform his work. After the hike, we returned to our kayaks and continued up the river to a cave to fully appreciate the water’s green emerald color as the sunlight hits its surface. We paddled a short while longer to view the river monitor's work station then headed back. After returning to the launch site, we exited our kayaks and were offered snacks and drinks again by Eddie. He had been taking photos and videos of us throughout the journey and sent them to my wife’s phone before thanking us and wishing us safe travels. The trip was excellent, as was our guide, Eddie, friendly and knowledgeable. This was an excellent afternoon excursion and I would highly recommend it. Other notes, the launch site is near a marina with facilities so there is a bathroom for changing if needed. Water shoes are a good idea to make entering and exiting the kayak easier and protect your feet through the trip. We would also recommend sunscreen and lip balm with SPF for sun and wind protection.

Accommodating! - Great tour! Our guide, Eddie, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made the tour fun and informative. This company communicates well with clients and accommodates heavier people (280, 6ft 4"). The cave is best in the late afternoon, so take the 2pm tour if it's available.

Fantastic!! - BOOK THIS TOUR! Our guide, Eddie, was knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful and kind. He helped us see 3 bald eagles on our trip, and he never made us feel rushed. He was professional and communicated with us about the time change we would face when we crossed the state line. (Note: the tour is run on Nevada time.) This company offers comfortable kayaks for bigger people (my huband is 6ft 4, 280lbs). The small group size allowed us to hear our guide well. Bonus: our guide took great pictures of us on the tour and sent them to us FOR FREE. So pleased with this experience!! Thanks again, Eddie.

Kayaking with Mike! - Highly recommend! Mike was the perfect guide. He reached out prior to our trip to provide location details and tips on what to bring. During the kayaking he shared stories and history about the area. We loved the short hike where he pointed out and named many plants, rocks and stones, including “Fool’s Gold”. The river was Gorgeous sand easy to paddle. Mike also provided snacks and water. Mike even jumped in the water with me so I didn’t have to do it alone! It was a perfect day!
