Departing from Willow Beach Marina, this relaxed 2-mile journey to the cave features breathtaking viewpoints and intriguing historical landmarks, with a maximum of 12 participants per guide for a tailored experience. Ideal for adventurous groups or those eager to explore nature, participants will benefit from premium equipment, exceptional guides, and expert assistance. Large groups can be accommodated upon request, guaranteeing a memorable adventure for everyone.
- We offer single or tandem (2 seater) kayaks. Please specify which kayak you would prefer.
- The Emerald Cave is just a small cutout of the mountain for a great photo op!
- If you select self drive option, you will be meeting us at the marina. Have reliable transportation to meet us, there is NO cell service at the marina to call a ride share.
- If you have chosen and paid for this tour with shuttle, pick up times are: Venetian 110 minutes before, Bellagio 100 minutes before and Mandalay Bay 90 minutes before your tour start time

Emerald Cave Express Kayak - Kayak with Evolution Expeditions was absolutely wonderful. Maddie our guide was so fun and she educated us on all the plants, wildlife and water. Such a fun relaxing time.

Emerald Cave / Kayak tour a nice change of pace for Vegas trip - Nice experience. Guide (Maggie) was exceptional, making sure everyone knew all the details to stay safe and yet have lots of fun. She answered any questions we had and offered lots of knowledge about the area.

Emerald Cave tour did not disappoint! - AMAZING EXPERIENCE! we highly reccomend this specific company "EVOLUTION EXPEDITIONS" they are top notch, well organized, knowledgeable about the history of the dam and emerald cave. MAGGIE was out guide and she is a pro!

Auszeit vom LV-Rummel - wunderschöner Ausflug auf dem Colorado River - My evolution Expedition Kayak tour on Colorado river to Emerald Cave with our guide Maggie was fantastic. Everything was well organized, Maggie got in contact right before pick up in order to find each other.
The tour was really fun and Maggie gave us interesting information about history of the area. The cave itself is rather small but nevertheless the green shimmering of the water is fantastic. Maggie is a fantastic tour guide, she made us people a nice group for the day trip. I recommend the tour to everyone who wants to have a great nature experience. You will enjoy the day!

Awesome kayak tour - Our family had a great time on the kayak tour and it was a beautiful day. Our guide Ray was amazing! He was fun and so knowledgeable about the area and made sure everyone was doing ok in their kayak. We had both single kayaks and a double kayak, and there was a bit of a learning curve using the rudders, but once that was figured out kayaks were easy to use and comfortable. Each kayak has a dry bag for phone and small personal items and a dry resistant larger compartment for bigger stuff. And the water super soakers on each kayak were a fun addition on a hot day-had fun spraying each other. A couple short stops along the tour to get in the water. You do take a shirt hike during one of the stops so make sure to have decent sandals or shoes because it is a bit rocky. Overall would highly recommend this tour, we loved it!

Emerald Cave Kayak Trip - We had a fantastic experience with Evolution Expeditions on their Emerald Cave kayak tour! We opted for the shorter 3-hour trip, and it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the beauty of the river without feeling rushed. Just an hour’s drive from Las Vegas made it super convenient, and they even offer hotel pick-up from select resorts, which is a great option.
Our guide, Ryan (one of the many Ryans we somehow met this week!), was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable with insights about the area and the river. The kayaks were top-notch—well-equipped with rudders that made navigating a breeze. We even passed some other tour groups and overheard what sounded like a little gear envy!
This trip had been on our list for a while, and while the Emerald Cave itself was a bit smaller than first expected, the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. If you’re planning to go, try to book before the heavy Memorial Day crowds hit. Highly recommend Evolution Expeditions for a fun and scenic adventure off the Strip!

Kayaking with Soren - This excursion was beautiful. We had a pick up from the bellagio which was organised and on time. The kayaking was led by Soren who was amazing and informative on the way to the emerald cave and also took pictures of our group. Could not recommend this enough!! Must do activity if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the casinos.
