Ask for the driver/Guide Bob - Being travelling alone I chose not to rent a car (it is very expensive!) and do these tours. The bus does not have air conditioning, so those who feel the heat can feel a little heat I advise to bring a sandal or water shoe because it is not sweet sand Stop 1: 01 hour on a beach. You can borrow sanitary snorkel items Stop 2: Swim with turtle <3 Take those cell phone protectors to get in with him underwater and take pictures crazy Stop 3: A cave, it's quite interesting to see how the sea opened underneath by erosion Stop 4: 02 hours on another beach. Bring money to lunch on that. In fact, it is worth taking some snacks to eat before this stop that is there at 2:00 p.m. There was water and beer on the bus, that's all! In the end, we saw some flamingos, but somewhere far away. Ask if the driver/Guide is Bob. He is very inquisitive and goes the whole trip telling about the history of Curaçao, curiosities, education, etc in English and Spanish. It made all the difference to go with him :)

AMAZING EXCURSION- WELL WORTH IT!! - Aida tours was amazing!!! We had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide for the city tour was so wonderful! She explained so many parts of the city in such great detail! Also, the bus was nicely air conditioned- super plus. We felt like we got to see so much of Curacao. We didn't get to see the flamingos because it was the part of the season where they are in Bonaire which can't be helped but they did try to show us! The caves were a great experience as well. It's hot but they have a nice touch of fans throughout the experience. The mambo beach experience was the perfect ending! We had another added bonus of unexpectedly being able to snorkle there (you can bring your own or rent there)! They also provided COLD, bottled water all throughout the tour. All in all would highly recommend and we felt like it was a lot of experience for the amount of money spent.

Hato Cave and Beach day.......... Awesome! - The cave was so interesting and we learned so much about it's formation. Being able to see the fruit bats with their babies was so cool!! Our pick-up by Javier was punctual and he shared a lot of history about the island..... he made the travel time interesting and informative as we engaged in conversation. Kokomo beach was our next stop and we loved every minute! Beautiful weather, beautiful water, great drinks and relaxation! Taking a different route on our way back , we explored other areas of the island and again learned so much. We were able to see the beautiful flamingos! All in all, it was a great day and I would absolutely recommend the tour!

Must do while in Curacao - Hato caves are basically right next to the airport, about a 25 minute drive from town centre. I think the admission was like 7 to 10 USD as I recall. Multilingual staff can do tours in english, dutch, spanish, portuguese. Tour in caves probably lasted 45 minutes, there are air fans in the caves

The crew was very nice. ... - The crew was very nice. They had great knowledge of the history and places we've visited. Mambo Beach was beautiful a bit crowded but we had fun. The Hato cave part wasn't that good, the guide at the Cave was rushing us and had kind of an attitude. The Flamingos were very few but we managed to see them from afar.

Educational Hato tour - I really loved the Hato tour (first stop). It was very short, but very educational. However, we didn't do the Indian trail though and the tour was given by the people from the Hato Cave. The second stop was to watch wild flamingos. Though it was no guarantee to see these flamingos, we did see about 50 flamingos feeding in the swamp area. Our last stop was at the Pirates bay beach, where we had 1.5 hours to enjoy ourselves. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Curaçao, but I expected more from the tour itself. On our way back to the drop-off locations, we were able to make photos at the Juliana bridge, which was an awesome view.

Depends on the tour guide - Pickup was a bit frustrating. There was no communication even though we reached out. Our driver was late so that made it more worrisome. However, when Leo arrived he was friendly, informative, and funny. Unfortunately, he suffered a mishap and another driver finished our tour. We were grateful he was there, but he was not so friendly, informative, and funny and we’ll leave it at that.

Unorganized Tour - Unorganized. The group who gave the tour, combined us with the group that left the port before us. We had to wait for that group to finish the cave tour. Would not recommend that company. The only positive review was the tour guide on the bus was knowledgeable and fun. The driver was excellent and I felt save.

Very disappointing! - I do not recommend. The excursion had two parts: Hato Caves and Kokomo Beach. We were taken first to the beach which already made it disjointed. The beach is a relatively small cove, very rocky. Water shoes should have been recommended, but weren’t. It was overcrowded with scant shade. Beach chairs are not included in your ticket price. That was $6 dollars per chair. Water is provided, but food is not. Snorkeling is available, but I don’t know if there’s a charge for it. Two hours were spent on the beach, rather short for my taste. An inordinate amount of time is spent driving downtown to demonstrate the Dutch influence in the architecture of houses. Our guide, Francisco, was afable but did not give straight answers to straight questions. The Hato Caves are interesting, but relatively small and covered fairly quickly. The tour was on time and transportation was appropriate. This excursion was very disappointing.
