A very nice diving experience with diving instructor “lorenzo” - It started very quietly with a good tight explanation of what we were going to do that day. In the water we had a very nice experience. The divemaster shows a lot of understanding in things you can't or can't do. He has a nice chat and he's very relaxed. Underwater he showed all different kinds of fish and took great care of how much air you had left and all in a nice way!!
For people who start diving or have already dived this is definitely recommended!!

If it were easy it wouldn’t be called hunting - I had an amazing time diving with Rick. His knowledge about the marine life made my lionfish hunting a guided marine adventure. Clearly a well run and safe dive company! Would do it again in a heartbeat! He showed me how to operate the spear and was patient when I missed …. If it was easy it wouldn’t be called a hunt..

Unforgettable scuba diving experience at Blue Bay Resort! - Our dive experience at Blu Bay Resort was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Ellen, our master diver, who made our dives unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to point out all the amazing marine life we encountered beneath the surface. Her expertise and passion for diving truly enhanced our underwater tour, making it one of the best dives we’ve ever had.
The resort itself was immaculate, and the entire atmosphere made it the perfect setting for a memorable diving experience. We can’t wait to return to Blue Bay Resort for more incredible dives. Highly recommend!

Great Experience - It was a great! Christina was a great dive guide. She was really patient with me being I’m a little bit of a nervous diver. She pointed out tons of things I would have missed on my own. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this place!

A beautiful diving experience - The dive guides were very nice and could tell a lot about the dive site at the briefing. Coral formations and the usual reef inhabitants impressed there.
The taxi ride from the port - I was a day tourist there from the cruise ship - cost more than the dive. It is recommended to rent a car there.

Great reef with guaranteed sightings of exciting fish and animals - Completed 3 shore dives at Blue Bay: a fun dive in the coral garden and wall, a night dive and lionfish hunt dive. They were fantastic… we saw a moray, box fish, cow fish, lion fish, brain coral and fans, a school or sardines, multiple barracuda, an octopus, queen angelfish couple, spiny lobster, slipper lobster and trigger fish. Great staff, very welcoming. The only complaint is they charge for sets by the day (rather than your trip), so we didn’t dive as much as we would have liked. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, unfortunately we were 2x a group of 9 - Donato is a very prudent and professional divemaster...the anchorage of my weight is broken and I lost 4kg...he dived and got the weights...Rick was very good at finding turtles, we watched them eat...magnificent

Nothing is too much trouble at Blue Bay Dive & Watersports centre - Diving at Blue Bay is beautiful, easy, relaxed scenic diving at possibly the world's easiest shore diving site. There are no tides, little current, very easy shore diving within a 1 min walk from the friendly and well organised dive centre. Charlie was superb for any of our needs, nothing is too much trouble. We did several tank & weight hire only dives, and one guided night dive with Christina who was fun, friendly and could not be more helpful. I would highly recommend this dive centre and site to anyone considering diving in Curacao.

Incredible First Time Diving Experience, Would do Again - My wife and I's experience scuba diving at Blue Bay was magnificent. Our guide Christina was very knowledgeable and gave us clear instructions/expectations. As first time divers, my wife and I were both a little nervous at first but quickly learned the basic skills to make us comfortable underwater. Thanks again to Christina for being an excellent instructor.
As for the location and quality of dive, Blue Bay has some of the healthiest reef I have ever seen. The amount and variety of coral is phenomenal, and number of different marine species I saw was breathtaking. Over the course of a week spent staying at Blue Bay, I saw everything from a color changing fish (honeycomb cow fish) to a 4 ft long moray eel and even a sea turtle. Note that you do not need to scuba dive to see marine life at blue bay. Surprisingly, much of the unique marine life I saw wasn't during my dive, but rather during my daily snorkeling. I believe certain marine life is more active at specific times of day such as the early morning or evening hours. If I were to dive here again, I would want to know if any particular time of day is preferable (whether for peak visibility, or more active marine life).
The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a slight issue in booking our dive. We were supposed to dive one morning at 8:30 (booked the night before), but had to move our dive to the next day due an instructor having sinus problems. Although I was told they offer 5 daily dive times (8:30, 10:30, 12:30, 2:30, & 4:30), I did not always see people going out at these times. If you are on a tight schedule I would recommend calling in advance to ensure your dive instructor is ready and prepared. They only allow 2 people per instructor. All in all, my wife and I had an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend the guided dive to anyone who enjoys snorkeling and has considered diving.

One diver breaking the major rules of diving - Dive and Shop staff were very professional.
Reef is struggling like all into the Caribbean.
There were five divers and a dive guide in the water. The guide was very attentive and did his best with what he was dealt. One diver in the water was destructive to the reef. She carried a camera, wore gloves and had no buoyancy control. She pulled herself along the reef, unaware to her lights, fins and body was in relation to the reef. She was totally destroying the reef.
She continually lack behind the group paying no attention to a fellow divers and her dive partner. She never noticed that one Diver had less skill and could possibly running out of air.
She was worried about nothing in the water but her and her pictures.
Two divers from other group also complained to her to the Dive staff. We recommended she not be permitted ever to dive here again until she changes her style of diving.
In 20 years of Diving, I’ve only seen her and one other person ever treat a reef like that.
I highly recommend carousel adopts a no glove policy. And enforces Diving etiquette.
