The driver will collect guests directly from their hotel or apartment in Krakow and transport them to Wieliczka. Following a brief walk, participants will join an English-speaking tour led by an official museum guide. After the tour, the driver will return guests to their accommodation. Tickets are included, eliminating the need to wait in line for purchase.
- Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift.
- Temperature in the Salt Mine is approximately 14 degrees C (57 degrees F), please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.
- Please note that this tour is not available on: 25th of December, 1st of January, Easter Saturday afternoon, Easter Sunday.

Make sure you lick the walls - This was a great day had by all. A lot of steps going down but broken up so manageable. And thankfully a lift back up. Our tour guide was brilliant - very informative and brought humour to the tour as-well. Food in the cafe there was delicious and a good price too.

Great trip! - Great experience! Shuttle’s were on time and pick you up where you stay. The salt mine was very interesting and definitely worth the trip from Krakow.

Great day trip to the Salt Mines - Very prompt, organised and accommodating. Picked us up right outside our hotel. The driver spoke very good English and the vehicle was lovely and clean.
The tour was very well orchestrated. Lots of info. But be warned, there is a lot of walking. Not that we minded. The whole trip was about 4-5 hours including travel.

Excellent tour of the Salt mines - The tour was so well organised and our guide on the English speaking group was absolutely brilliant.
Driver picked us up at the hotel and gave us a lot of information during the journey.
The vehicle was very clean and comfortable.
I would highly recommend this trip.

Good organisation skills - We were collected at hotel at time they had text us the day before ,730am .the driver was very helpful and explained a few things on way there .
We were in small group On this tour , only four of us in total , he took is to where we should line up and gave is out tickets.
You need to be fit for this trip as there are a lot of steps and a bit of walking , we really enjoyed seeing the mines very educational and guide was very good .
Driver waiting for us at car and made our way home with the offer of being dropped off somewhere other than hotel if required.
Would definitely use again

Outstanding experience with Chris - My wife and I used this service to visit the salt mines outside Krakow. Our driver Chris picked us up on time. He politely introduced himself and ushered us in a very comfortable van. He set clear expectations on how we would be spending the next four hours and what to expect. He is a natural people person and perfectly suited in his role as a travel industry leader. He shared with us some of the technology improvements he’d like to help make in Krakow for the travel industry which made good sense and is needed. He was very knowledgeable about our home country (US). At my request he booked an airport transfer for me later in the day and kept in phone contact with me to insure payment and pick up detail were in order. Chris made the difference, thank you Chris!

Salt mines Tourist route - Good half day trip - this was the tourist route in the mine - there is a different experience called Miners route check which you want to do.

Salt mine - The description describes the activity level. Consider it closely as the tour is fast and moves rapidly! I would have enjoyed it more if we could have spent a bit more time at each brief stop. Our tour was in English and our guide was very good but sometimes it was hard to understand the narration when moving so quickly
