Such a friendly and funny... - Such a friendly and funny guide who made us feel welcome and listened to all our needs, got to go off on our own at each place which was nice as made it more personal and private whilst still having guidance if needed

Very well organized - The visiting duration for each spot was a little bit different from the description, but in the end we've found that all the changes were made in our favor. We were very pleased with the guide and our driver.

A nice trip - The white temple is breathtaking, but the 6 hours round trip on a bumpy roads feels like a bit of torture session for a 75 years old like me.

Bargain priced full day tour. Good photo opportunities. - We were first to be picked up and took almost an hour to pick up remaining 4 guests as they weren't ready. Saw 3 temples and the Black House Museum. Got back to Chiang Mai around 7pm so it was a long day. However guide was good and saw some lovely countryside. Long neck tribe was worth a visit too. Got some good photos.

Worth the time but not extremely exciting - The temples and the black museum are nice and worth visiting; however, be prepared for a rather long drive and about 30% of the whole trip spent on sightseeing. The lunch was basic but acceptable; they accommodate vegetarian/vegans.

12 hours of driving for 2-3 hrs of activity. - Overall not the greatest experience although the actual visiting of 3 temples was a nice experience and the tour company (cookie and our driver) were helpful and informative, the long journey getting there and back took away from the overall enjoyment. Blame the poor Thai roads and take a good reading book.

Long long day - Great trip but horribly uncomfortable in the van I scooted over so 2 others. Old sit in front and lost all legroom. 3 Paris old ladies talked loudly the entire 12.5 hour day. They spoke over the guide and left trash everywhere. The activities were great but no explanation or history given. We just get out and time given to be back for pick up. We saw the same people at every stop as I believe most tours take the same route! Lastly, during hot part of day, air in car sucked. We all were sweating bad. Also, sun beating on me on right side on the way back. Could feel air on person in middle but none on the sides! All those little things make or break an excursion. Just unlucky for me I guess. 1 last thing for all guides. Leave these people there if they are going to be late back to the bus. Omg, why do some ruin it for all. I want to be a guide just to leave these entitled doucebags stuck!

Itinerary is great but logistics needs improvements - The tour is great itinerary and the guide was very professional. But, the logistics didn’t help. First, this is not a “small tour group”, as we were two vans. The itinerary says “You will have a short stop at a natural hot spring and take a break.”, this is actually the third one, as the previous two are total of one hour to wait first to the other van in a 7Eleven and the second is a souvenir place, and after 15mins you stop again in the hot spring for another coffee break. Then, not very friendly when you need to wake up at 6am. Lunch place was very crowded, everybody from other tours were concentrated there.

Long and tiring tour, worth it, but ask for a front seat - The tour itself is long and tiring with 3 hours back and forth on non-ideal roads and driving practices. However, the three temples you'll see are worth it and the coffee and lunch breaks make it manageable. Normally, I'd give this tour a good or average rating but in this case, I have to give it a poor rating. The reason is I was seated in the back of a 12 seats minivan with so little space that you can't sit comfortably with your legs straight. Imagine sitting sideways with your legs squeezed against the front seat for 6-7 hours. It was very uncomfortable for an average height person. I mentioned this to the tour guide and but he made no effort to fix the situation and told me to 'not worry'. Sure, I didn't worry and went ahead with the tour but my knees felt so tight at the end of the day. Moral of the story: Make sure you demand a front seat if you're taking this tour.
