Great family experience for first timers! - Great opportunity for first timers with pre-teen children. Our guide Lucy was very informative, professional and personable. Weather was good when we visited, would be more ideal with more fresh powder, but that's up to mother nature not the hosts. Kids enjoyed the mini-track experience, thats a bonus for minors since they can't operate a full sized snowmobile without valid license. All in all, great experience, if you have children, if not, take the other tour options.

Spectacular family adventure - From start to finish, our experience was outstanding. The family ride with our kids (8 and 6) was handled with such professionalism, and the little ones absolutely loved riding the kids’ snowmobiles. The serene surroundings, coupled with the magic of riding in the snowfall, made it truly special. The warm cookies, hot cider, and friendly staff added to the charm—everything was flawless. A huge thank you to Alex and Soosa for making the ride so memorable!

It was a very expensive... - It was a very expensive tour for what you get. First of all, the meeting location was moved without early notice, so we got to the starting site a little bit late than expected. The snowmobile trails were very bumpy all through out the tour. The speed handled was a very slow pace, more like a scenic tour, but unfortunately there was nothing scenic to see. Also very illogical that the cost for a double rider snowmobile is higher than a single rider snowmobile. Not satisfied, would not recommend this tour.

Not 2 hours as advertised (confirmed by Operations Manager) - We took the 2 Hour Family Tour in late November, 2024.  We left the Blackcomb Dogsled Base at 1pm, and returned to the same base tent at 2:30pm.  So the time for the entire tour was 1.5 hours, not 2 hours as advertised. And, of the 1.5 hours, the total time we could ride the snowmobiles was only 30 minutes. The photo stop, and the stop at their cabin took the other 1 hour.  Also, the kids in our tour were allowed to ride the Mini Snowmobiles for only 5 minutes, which was another disappointment. Our kid is 40kg, and the Mini Snowmobile looked small for him. I emailed the company, and the Operations Manager replied that the "the typical ride time on our snowmobile tours is approximately 1 hour and 15-20 minutes, it seems from your previous timeline you were out on trail for 1 hour and 30 minutes which is longer than usual". In both emails, she refused to explain why they advertised a 2-hour tour, but the actual time was significantly shorter. So, consider what you will actually get before you make the payment.
