Westport town walking tour - Deirdre our tour guide was really excellent. She was very informative of the rich history of Westport, and told us lots of interesting facts, and was very willing and able to answer all of our questions. We went as a family and would really recommend this tour, and Deirdre the tour guide.

Make sure to take the Walking Tour of Westport. Look for the guide with a yellow jacket! - We just completed the walking tour with Martin as our guide. It was a sweet culinary delight! The tour was very informative with lots of fun local history. We were lucky enough to meet the owners of several local shops and sample their delicious treats. We so enjoyed Market 57, Marlene’s Chocolate, Curry’s Cottage Bakery, Krem Gelateria & Cafe and also PAX. Martin is a wonderful tour guide and storyteller! I highly recommend

A Walk Worth Taking - Myself, my friend and a small group of foreign tourists were brought on a very interesting tour of Westport town. It is quite a compact town, which was easy to cover within the hour. Our guide was very friendly and welcoming and was very informative about the history of the town and it's current status. This was all delivered in an interesting way, taking account the ages of the participants and their backgrounds. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Westport for the first time.

A must do. When visiting Westport - It was the oh so enthusiastic Deirdre that was our tour guide on the day. It was a real treat to hear her unfold the rich historical and heritage stories of Westport. A must do when visiting Westport

Well worth it! - References to eco projects and the interest shown by the town in preservation of wildlife. The Swifts ( birds) story was interesting.

secrets that exist in plain sight 🤔
She’s got plenty of recommendations for good eateries and further adventures, so today I’ll explore the Harry Clarke windows in the town 😍
I loved Deirdre’s calm approach, she was a total pro with a real friendly and gentle touring style. Super-gentle walk, happy to recommend to all group types and us solos 🥰

Best walking tour of Westport - Wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. It’s a beautiful town. The tour lasted an hour and concentrated on the town center. We were also given tips on places to eat and shop for locally produced and sourced items. I was even given a few yummy treats of locally sourced snd produced candy.
