Friendly driver and guides :) - We booked a pleasant and informative tour today through Johnny's Tours. We were picked up by Iwan, our driver, who was friendly and chatty and went the extra mile. On the way back, we stopped to experience stick fighting, a local tradition, which was fun. Our guides, Jan and Nas, showed us around the village and tried to answer all 100 of our questions :) We even saw black monkeys, which was the cherry on top.

Great cultural experience and variety - First time to do an excursion like this. It was amazing! Ewan was a great driver and explained so much. When we got the location we met Eddie our tour guide who introduced us to his family and neighbors. It was an incredible experience to be immersed in the culture. We highly recommend!

Great tour (and even better guide) - Extremely fun tour, a lot of activities and variety in activities. The experience was made a lot better by our guide, Iwan, who had a lot of knowledge and had a fun sense of humour.

IWAN is a legend - Had the best time!!! Our driver, IWAN picked us up from the hotel and he was such a delight!!! We had a 2 hour drive from our hotel to tetebatu. IWAN’s English is fantastic so we had great conversations. He’s stopped on the way when he saw stick fighting, which is a local Lombok sport which happens rarely and gave us the run down of the sport and got to watch, front seats! Our walking tour was beautiful and felt very authentic. The coffee was fantastic and the rice fields were beautiful. Never experienced waterfalls like this!! Best day! Will never forget the experience or the company!

Lovely tour (Iwan is a legend) - Such a fantastic tour! So much jam packed into the day but I loved every minute of it! We walked through rice paddies, small villages, drank delicious coffee, swam in 2 waterfalls, and went to the monkey forest. Lunch was delicious and included in the tour deal. Our driver Iwan was the best, so friendly and accommodating with all our needs.

Exciting - The tour goes through a farming village that is not tourist-oriented. There you get an exciting insight into the daily routines. The group consisted of only 4 people and other tourists could be seen at the falls.

A wonderful day in Tetebatu - We had a great day with a super professional team for the Tetebatu walking tour (the village, rice fields, waterfalls and Monkey forest). Eddy and Nas accompanied us during the tour explaining everything, sharing their culture and making every moment very enjoyable. Kiki, our driver, was very polite and drove us safely back and forth from our hotel always with a smile. I strongly recommend it if your planning to explore Lombok and its culture!

Tetebatu, hidden pearl in Lombok! - Great tour! Yuda driver super helpful! He picked us up at the hotel and took us to the place, exchanging chats and information with us. Really super! The Guide to the place Dani really unparalleled, explained everything in detail and showed us lots of parts of Tetebatu (a little pearl hidden in Lombok!!) helpful and nice! Really Top! He showed us around the village, the rice fields, the waterfalls and finally the monkey forest .. all really beautiful! Super recommended tour!

Fantastic tour with brilliant guide! - We were picked up at our hotel by our wonderful driver, Jamil. He was friendly, informative, and drove us to the drop-off point. At the drop-off point, we met our guide, Adi. From there, we took a fantastic walking tour- including: meeting local people, sampling traditional foods, walking amongst the rice terraces with beautiful views, stopping at two different waterfalls for photographs and swimming, from there we walked to an excellent local restaurant and had a wonderful traditional meal with incredibly reasonable pricing, after our meal it was a short walk to the monkey forest where we spotted black and grey monkeys. The whole time, Adi was a wonderful guide, very informative, very friendly, and happy to tailor the tour to our needs. After the monkey tour, our driver Jamil met us at the monkey forest and drove us back to our hotel I would 100% recommend booking this tour. A wonderful experience in which we will never forget.
